Unity(TM) Lab Services is a business segment that supports the Customer Channels Group, which provides critical outsourced on-site services at customer locations focused on improving supply chain and research operations efficiency and effectiveness.
The position is focused primarily on scientific support services within Unity Lab Services core offerings of: Stockroom and point-of-use inventory management, sourcing and order management, dock management and laboratory support services.
**What will you do?**
+ Make on-site program replenishments and disbursements. Performs stockroom duties to include: receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other functions according to customer requirements.
+ Follows well defined Best Practices, SOP's & work instructions. Take direction from Manager (and Team Lead where appropriate) regarding daily duties.
+ Promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements without the presence of site trainer and management team.
+ Listens to customer concerns, diffuses dissatisfaction, and quickly identifies course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times
+ Proactively communicates with supervisor any customer concerns and/or potential problems.
+ Represents Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations, professionally and positively.
+ Ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements (Thermo Fisher and Customer)
+ Embraces Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies

**How will you get here?**
+ Background for minimum of 3-5 Years in warehousing and logistics preferred
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience:**
+ Experience in logistics operations and warehousing preferred
+ Preferred 2 Year experience in attention to detail, problem solving and working in a team environment, preferably within a laboratory setting or services
+ Some first leadership experience preferred

**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $5.26- 22.89.

They will be responsible fo **r** understanding end-to-end design, implementation, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and leveraging the WMS effectively. **Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for defining and optimizing warehouse processes within WMS tool, including inbound receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and outbound shipping. Partner with support operations (e.g. Quality, Customs, Logistics) for optimization of processes within the warehouse.
+ Work closely and partner with IT and other stakeholders to implement, configure, and customize the WMS to meet specific business needs and improve efficiency.
+ Ensures that warehouse processes are consistent, standardized and lead the harmonization of WMS across all locations, promoting best practices, industry standards and reducing errors.
+ Manages the planning and execution of capital/expense projects required for the continued alignment of WMS base design functions as business needs change.
+ Provides alternate WMS solutions that can be successfully implemented for launching multiple products within overlapping timelines and elevating options to senior leadership for alignment.
+ Confirms that master data within the WMS is functioning as planned and can be used effectively to support operational processes
+ Develop, track and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational reports related to warehouse activities and provide regular reports to management.
+ Identifies areas for improvement in warehouse operations, understands acceptable design variations within the WMS and drives initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
+ Understand internal and external (global) compliance requirements in the distribution/transportation of medical device products (including but not limited to hazardous materials and cold chain products).
**Education and Experience**

The Product Manager is a key member of the Technology team, responsible for defining and delivering exceptional products that align with business goals and drive value for our customers. They will be responsible for managing delivery through a scrum framework, leveraging agile ceremonies, measuring results, and constantly iterating on improving the Distribution processes. In addition, this role is the acknowledged expert on Crate and Barrel Distribution systems and processes, and works to discover and develop solutions that meet business goals and stakeholder needs and constraints.

The Product Manager is a key member of the Technology team, responsible for defining and delivering exceptional products that align with business goals and drive value for our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of product management principles, a passion for technology, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. The Product Manager reports to the Director of Product Management and plays a crucial role in shaping the product strategy and roadmap.
Over the next few years, this role will support the implementation of the Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS), in addition to driving continuous network-wide improvements, working alongside partners from program management, change management, engineering, and business partners. They will be accountable for defining business requirements, establishing future state processes, and outlining a product roadmap to support this implementation and beyond. They will be responsible for managing delivery through a scrum framework, leveraging agile ceremonies, measuring results, and constantly iterating on improving the Distribution processes. In addition, this role is the acknowledged expert on Crate and Barrel Distribution systems and processes, and works to discover and develop solutions that meet business goals and stakeholder needs and constraints.

- Execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Distribution, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs.
- Partner with all key stakeholders, ranging from Distribution business leadership, Technology leadership, Operations, Engineering, Program management, Change management
- Execute best in class product management methodology, continually bringing new methodologies and techniques to improve product quality and speed to market.
- Support the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, testing, and deployment, adhering to agile methodologies.
- Support thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights gathering to inform product decisions and identify opportunities.
- Conduct product discovery activities to validate product ideas and ensure alignment with customer and stakeholder needs
- Prioritize product features and work based on data, customer feedback, and business goals
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align on product strategy and roadmap
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.

- Establish and conduct continual discovery cycles for the product that maximizes business value, industry trends, and the full resources of the product team.
- Work closely with management and the product team to define a compelling product vision and strategy.
- Prioritize all defects associated with the product and/or that are impacting business partners with appropriate urgency and consideration of current backlog.
- Possess an understanding of the Transportation capabilities, inclusive of (but not limited to) pick, pack, putaway, store, and ship
- Possess a strong understanding of the most up-to-date vendor offerings that these processes, as well as the analytical components that drive these modern solutions.
