We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring the timely availability of materials for daily operations and emergency requests. This is a temporary position with an opportunity to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and stage orders for various divisions’ daily workload and emergency requests.
- Receive and stock inventory while verifying accuracy and adherence to required specifications.
- Review inventory items to confirm they meet specifications and check if they are on order.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts of specific bin number ranges to maintain proper inventory accuracy.
- Perform annual physical inventory.
- Maintain inventory bin locations and overflow areas to ensure appropriate stock levels.
- Notify the supervisor of any shortages to initiate the procurement process.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Protect inventory security by adhering to established security procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), preferably “Maximo.”
- Knowledge of underground utilities and plumbing.
- At least 1 year of experience with material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Familiarity with basic warehousing, inbound and outbound shipping, and computerized inventory control systems.
- Basic computer skills.

Job Scope
This position exists to ensure proper leadership of all Polyurethanes Division Supply Chain activities in Mexico and Colombia. The incumbent will ensure full alignment with all Corporate Purchasing and Supply Chain/Logistics requirements and alignment with the Americas Regional business and Global Supply Chain strategies.
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of our supply chain within Mexico and Cartagenas site, working in close collaboration with the broader Americas Regional Supply Chain Leadership Team to ensure customer activities are consistent with regional business and global supply chain strategies. The incumbent will also work very closely with the Commercial teams in both countries and the Shared Service functions (based in The Woodlands, TX San Jos, Costa Rica) to ensure full alignment within Mexico and Colombia.
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure the execution of the following activities for both sites MX &CO:
Summary
In summary, as the Supply Chain Manager, you will:
- Work closely with the Customer Service team in Costa Rica in order to meet the demand of the Polyurethanes (PU) Division (~100 active accounts with ~230 orders/month) and Performance Products (PP) Division (~79 active accounts with ~120 orders/month) in the region.
- Effectively manage the PU Division (53 MMlbs of sales with a local inventory of 4.5 MMlbs stored in four warehouses), PP Division (20 MMlbs of sales with a local inventory of 1 MMlbs stored in two third party warehouses) supply chain in Mexico and PU Division (8MMlbs of sales and local inventory of 3MMlbs in Cartagenas site) in Colombia.
- Effectively manage the PU Division Logistics capability (transfers of material into the Country from Geismar, LA USA manufacturing, as well as other locations, such as Mississauga, ON Canada, and transfers of materials to local customers).
- Manage the tote and drum blending for Mexico, with Production of ~65 tons/month of polyol blends and repackaging.
- Manage the exports of finished goods from Cartagena, Colombia to customers in South and Central America such as Guatemala, Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, etc.
- Tours in EHS focus.
- Support and ensure compliance in safety activities such as review, and approval of work permits for contractors supervision of on-site work performed by both contractors and Huntsman associates.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Mexico .
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a supply chain, technical, or business discipline with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience.
- A minimum of five years of appropriate managerial/supervisory experience is required.
- Leadership in the storage operation, customers and carriers.
- The incumbent must be fully bilingual (Spanish and English).
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in both languages are required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of import/export, transportation, and trade regulations within Mexico is essential. Expertise in Mexico and Colombia's economy and business-related policies is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor, even under times of stress, is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to properly safeguard confidential and sensitive information (pricing, salary actions, organizational changes, etc.) is essential.

The Supply Chain Operations Manager oversees the PAR Administration team that is responsible for optimizing inventory locations at hospitals and Off-Site Emergency Departments for all central Florida. This team also coordinates and executes product conversions for central Florida, maintains PAR inventory locations in ERP, and is the technical resource owner for the PAREx inventory management system. This position will oversee team members that are often working remotely at AdventHealth facilities and will only occasionally be in the office which this role will be based.

- Provides guidance and leadership to a team of Supply Chain professionals. Interviews,
selects, and trains new team members as needed and provides ongoing communication
with staff members to maximize retention.
- Manages, assesses, and develops all Supply Chain staff, identifying gaps and creating
action plans to close those gaps.
- Assesses and interprets data relative to supply chain performance measures.
- Implements appropriate actions to maintain or improve compliance with AdventHealth
policies and contracts.
- Resolves issues including product conversions, contract compliance, savings
initiatives, and other projects.
- Collaborates with Clinical Resource Managers, Directors, Senior Administration, and
clinical leadership in identifying and implementing cost reduction, evaluation,
standardization, and process improvement initiatives.
- Works collaboratively with corporate sourcing for the acquisition of capital, new service
lines, and other strategic initiatives.
- Establishes tracking and processes improvement activities to ensure customer service
excellence.
- Works closely with Director of Value Analysis and Supply Chain Operations to
implement supply chain strategy throughout the division.
- Enhances organizational effectiveness through continuous growth in product, service,
and supplier knowledge.
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed to insure the smooth operation of the
department.
Qualifications

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:**
- Organizational skills: ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (oral, written, and presentation) skills to persuade and guide the decision process.
- Ability to work in a team environment and with diverse groups of both clinical and non-clinical employees, as well as, with outside vendors.
- Ability to serve as a role model/mentor to staff.
- Analytical skills including cost-benefit analysis and financial feasibility studies, as well as, ability to analyze complex operational and financial scenarios to render solutions that meet the customers' desired outcomes.
- Strong computer literacy/savvy especially in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and operational metrics and develop plans to address areas of underperformance.
- Working knowledge of all Supply Chain operations.
- Knowledge of business operations and management procedures, excellent problem-solving, and people management skills.
- In depth knowledge and experience with managing product conversions and cost savings initiatives.
- Understanding of the principles of project management.
**_KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:_**
- Experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations and their platforms.
- Knowledge of medical supplies distribution operations.
- Knowledge of Value Analysis processes.
- Experience working with Freight analysis and cost reduction.
- Understanding of contracting and contract management.
- Familiarity of the capital equipment procurement process and principals.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**

- Minimum of five years of healthcare supply chain experience.

- Minimum of five years' managerial experience.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Healthcare **.**
