**BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:**
Under the supervision of the Solution Implementation Manager, the-Inventory Management Specialist, (IMS) _-_ would be responsible for successfully implementing the various inventory management solutions offered by MSC promoting a best-in-class experience for all stakeholders. This includes driving solutions, installations, data collection, vending machine diagnostics, maintenance and training. This position is expected to focus on advanced solution selling and implementation tasks.
**DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Collaborates with all MSC Sales Teams tenable explosive sales growth through Solutions
+ Maintains a thorough knowledge of all MSC solutions which include but not limited to: bar coded solutions such as CMI and VMI, Vending, Crib Software, etc.
+ Follows all required Salesforce protocols for project and time management
+ Drives proficiencies in the following areas:
+ Solutions discovery including data collection
+ Solutions recommendations
+ Installations
+ Break Fix (onsite service)
+ Post Install Support
+ Supply Chain Optimization
+ Fiscal responsibility

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:**
+ Associates-Degree or the equivalent relevant experience is required
+ Minimum two (2) years supporting value-added customer solutions / inventory management programs is preferred
+ Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software preferred
+ Knowledge of MSC-like product lines/services & MSC related experience is required
+ Minimum of two (2) years of general sales experience is preferred

Compensation starting at $18 $19/ hour dependent on candidate location and experience.
The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities. The Cycle Counter - IM Associate is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. Duties also include miscellaneous stores/stockroom activities to maintain inventory accuracy through proper processing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.
Requirements:
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Cycle count raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conforming materials on a daily basis.
- Utilize software to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.
- Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory.
- Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items to determine quantity on hand.
- Reports discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision - publish weekly and quarterly inventory metrics.
- Communicates and develops process enhancements as needed (performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them).

Job Description
A Supply Chain Analyst will maintain solutions as it relates to the customer agreement and may recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency, provide cost savings or reduce support. Position will require customer interactions and be capable of representing Penske in customer meetings. A Penske Supply Chain Analyst will work collectively between Operations, Engineering and Technology to support logistics solutions and strategic cost savings opportunities. The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for managing Transportation Management business processes including shipment route plan optimization and execution to ensure that Penske's solutions are meeting customer requirements.
**Major Responsibilities:**
- Analyzes route schedules or load plans, historical activity and customer trends in order to provide recommendations for improvements to routing efficiency and solution effectiveness
- Support the design and implementation of a developed supply chain solution
- Identify cost savings opportunities for the customer
- Handle reoccurring analysis and tasks driving continuous cost savings initiatives
- Examine current processes and implement or recommend improvements to drive out waste
- Proactively monitor and manage key performance indicators and execute root cause analysis utilizing TM operating systems
- Interact with customers in resolving problems and coordinating implementations
- Develop and distribute weekly customer metrics and develop customer performance reports
- Meet customer deadlines and develop metrics dashboards that highlight customer specific analytics
- Develop and assist with presenting customer analytics, key trends and solution proposals during customer QBR's
- Applies network changes and synchronizes execution with TM system
- Maps and documents standard operating processes
- Applies tactical processes daily within the established business rules.
- Use discretion and independent judgment to answer customer requests and propose solutions
- Work with internal subject matter expert to resolve problems and support implementations
- Follow processes that are set by engineering and help implement any process changes and transportation design changes
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree with concentration in Supply Chain highly preferred
- 1 year of inventory/auditing/transportation experience preferred
- Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics
- Ability to learn and operate various inventory and transportation management systems, in addition to extension applications.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures
- Data Analysis skills required
- Strong problem solving and time management skills required
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and multi task required
- Ability to follows process and standard procedures
- Experience analyzing large sets of data preferred
- Advanced computer skills including Excel and Outlook required
