Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
**Anticipated salary range:** $108,000/yr - $154,300/yr

**_Job Summary_**
The Manager, Inventory Management leads the site's Inventory Management team and oversees the stocking optimization and inventory planning in the facility through a team of Supervisors and other professionals. The Manager contributes to the facility's profitability through managing supplier costs and driving operational improvements. As a primary liaison to the Souring function, the Manager provides key input into supplier negotiations, demand planning and forecasting and also translates operational changes in the broader distribution network into requirements for the facility.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Oversees the site's Inventory Management team by setting short- and long-term objectives, directing tasks for individual teams and professionals, and providing guidance on complex issues. Leads regular meetings with Supervisors to ensure alignment.
+ Drives the profitability and operating margins of the facility by implementing supplier contracts with minimal costs. Regularly monitors revenues and costs at the supplier level and assesses opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
+ Based on expert knowledge of the facility's operations and analyses and reporting conducted by managed team, provides inputs into supplier negotiations executed by Sourcing teams. Ensures that supplier agreements are aligned to the capabilities and economics of the facility.
+ Provides input and feedback into the business unit's demand planning and forecasting based on inventory planning and supplier relations.
+ Evaluates the impact of changes in standard operating procedures, network planning and major supplier agreements on the facility's operations. Coordinates with Managers, Warehouse Operations and other site leaders in order to modify operations to meet new requirements and customer commitments.
+ Evaluates performance of teams and of direct reports, providing regular feedback and development opportunities. Participates in people management activities including performance reviews, recruiting and onboarding, and talent management.
+ Directs regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure high inventory accuracy and to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.

Summary/Objective:
The Director of Supply Planning and Inventory Management will be responsible for leading a diverse team of supply chain professionals to support the overall supply chain strategy of maximizing service levels while minimizing sourcing and inventory related costs. The position reports to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and will be a critical leader in driving cross-functional alignment with Demand Planning, Logistics, Business Development, Sales & Finance to maintain a balanced supply chain responsive to market needs.
Essential Functions:
- Lead a supply chain team consisting of multiple managers, supply planners & coordinators to meet specific KPIs focused on fill rates, inventory levels, cost/profitability, spoils as well as aging and dead stock
- Manage purchase and inventory plan and adjust to meet business needs while also driving internal alignment
- Proactively identify supply constraints and implement mitigation plans to prevent service disruptions
- Oversee the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, collaborating closely with demand planning, sales, operations and finance
- Partner with Business Development teams to promote good vendor relationships and high performance. Will require managing supplier metrics
- Align with warehouse operations and logistics on stocking levels by facility and projected inbound and outbound volume
- Own inventory strategy, policies, and performance KPIs including inventory turns, fill rates, and working capital targets.
- Champion the effective use of MRP, planning, and forecasting tools
- Drive safety stock optimization across all distribution points
- Ensure team adherence to accurate material planning and stock parameters (lead times, MOQs, Order Multiples etc)
- Mentor and coach team members to develop the supply planning team into a center of excellence
- Facilitate regular executive-level reviews on supply chain health, risks, and opportunities.
- Continuously refine supply chain processes using data-driven analysis and lean principles
- Lead or support the implementation of new planning systems or process improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

- Expertise in supply planning, inventory optimization, and S&OP processes.
- Advanced experience using ERP systems with embedded or integrated MRP platforms
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive accountability.
Preferred:
- Masters degree or MBA.
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP).
- Familiarity with product shelf-life modeling, supply expiration planning, and import lead time variability.

As part of the Inventory Management Applications Suite, Senior Application Developer is responsible for leading very high volume / low latency enterprise multi-tiered Java applications to provide cutting edge solutions for the Stock Record and related Application in the Capital Markets domain while following the industry best practices and Citi standards.
The primary responsibility will be leading the design and development and providing Level 3 support for these applications. Coordination between stakeholders and teams; thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. Stock Record is business critical, with complex interfaces/dependencies, consisting of time sensitive deliveries.
As a Senior Application Developer, the candidate must have a strong emphasis on Microservice architecture and design patterns, who can lead the deliverable activities, analysis of the business requirement, architecting and the building of the solution (conceptualize, design and development of the solution) while working and collaborating with a distributed team of developers working simultaneously on different application layers towards developing enterprise solutions for large projects. Collaborating with various internal teams and stakeholders is a must to provide best solutions and support.
This requires a highly experienced Java developer, with Microservices development experience, who has a track record of delivering highly scalable robust applications that use the latest tools and technologies while working on all phases of the development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Provide application management and solution technology leadership:
- Responsible for design and leading development as a full stack java architect to build very high-volume, low-latency enterprise applications that can adapt and scale to changing market conditions.
- Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort, owns the technical development environment and works with the Enterprise team to deliver in a fast-paced time bound manner.
- Help ensure high quality software delivery by providing guidance on testing strategy, technical consultation to plan/design performance testing, and providing feedback/guidance for tuning performance and other non-functional elements of the application.
- Migration of application functionalities that are part of large monolithic systems, running on WebLogic, into an ecosystem of Microservices using the latest technologies, and/or a combination of microservices and monoliths where applicable.
- Understanding the client requirements and envision the solution that can be captured as respective user stories in JIRA.
- Understanding the impact of adapting different architectures and designs and present the same to all relevant stakeholders.
- Management of both functional and technical requirements while deciding on technical solutions.
- Development of solutions following established technical design, application development standards and quality processes in projects.
- Building test automation suites to reduce the regression effort of the QA team.
- Identification of existing system bottlenecks and deficiencies, devise and implement robust solutions to address these shortcomings.

Required Skills
- BS/MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior Java Developer with hands on end-to-end solutions.
- Applicant must have senior technical project leadership capability, the ability to understand technology requirements, should be highly innovative and motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task a must.
- Role requires overcoming obstacles through collaboration, research/ testing and communication with ability to negotiate solutions.
- Individual must have experience working in a 'Global' environment providing daily support to multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- 8+ years of Oracle RDBMS design and development skills with excellent knowledge in store procedures, PL/SQL, triggers and performance tuning
- Experience migrating Oracle RDBMS to ECS cloud and NoSQL database. Architect and hands on technical experience in implementing large volume real time complex solutions in Big Data Platforms & Public Cloud platforms would be a huge asset.

Overview
The Warehouse Equipment Management Specialist plays a key role in supporting the efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement of warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing critical equipment, packing materials, operational reporting, and supporting cross-functional projects. Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment Management
- Oversee operational equipment including forklifts, side clamps, RF scanners, label printers, and banding tools .
2. Packing and Shipping Material Management
- Monitor and manage inventory of essential packing materials including crates, foam, boxes, shrink wrap , and protective packaging.
- Forecast and maintain safety stock levels for pallets and shipping materials , working closely with warehouse teams to avoid shortages or overstock.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and report on operational data using Excel, Google Sheets , and BI tools such as Tableau .

- Equipment downtime and recovery
