Your Primary ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking an Inventory Picker. The Inventory Picker is primarily responsible for ensuring the fulfillment center remains fully stocked with the right materials at the right time, enabling seamless operations and supporting on-time order fulfillment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workflow efficiency, minimizing delays, upholding service level standards across departments, and contributing to overall inventory accuracy through precise picking and documentation.
Inventory Pickers are typically responsible for:
- Using zone packets to retrieve items from designated racks, shelves, and bins.
- Accurately annotating the quantity pulled on each zone sheet; printing name and signing to ensure accountability.
- Replenishing pick zones proactively to prevent delays and stockouts.
- Staging materials in the appropriate area to support downstream fulfillment.
- Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance.
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Skills for Success- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking and documenting materials

Required Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory fulfillment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, zone packets, and picking instructions
- Basic computer or tablet skills for digital tracking or communication
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
You Might Also Have- Experience using an electric pallet jack
- Familiarity with inventory systems or zone-based picking workflows
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or distribution environment

What This Role Is…
As a Warehouse Stock Picker PM Associate , the primary function of this position is to maintain accurate inventory of all products. The Stock Picker is responsible for providing support to Customer Pickup, Chair Assembly, Rewrap and Merchandise Returns in pulling and putting away merchandise in our rack system for internal and external customers. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Operations Department at CITY Furniture.
Pay Rate:
$17/hr
What You’ll Do…
As a Warehouse Stock Picker PM Associate, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Conduct inventory counts for all products in the distribution center and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Utilize proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damage to merchandise and personal injuries
- Examine products for damages, documents reasons for damages, and notifies a Supervisor
- Pull Merchandise from rack system for the Customer Pickup department
- Store away merchandise into rack system from various distribution center departments
What We’re Looking For…
- Competencies and Job Specific Skills:
- Prioritization
- Relationship Management
- Change Receptivity
- Teamwork
What’s Required…
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical ability test
- Education & Work Experience:
- No High-school diploma required
- Stock Picker experience preferred, but not required
- Work Environment & Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 Hours, 3:00pm – 11:30pm, Flexible Days
- 0% of Travel
- Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 75lbs+, working at high heights, bending, prolonged standing and walking
- Technology Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.)
- Google Suite (i.e. Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- WMS – High Jump (preferred but not required)
- AS400 (preferred but not required)
- Director (preferred but not required)
- Certifications / Licenses
- No certifications required
