Inventory Supervisor reports to the Senior Logistics Manager and has overall responsibility for tracking incoming and finished goods materials, packaging supplies, etc. required in the warehousing and distribution of customer products. Provides accounting support regarding inventory issues. Reporting to this position are cycle counters and a clerk. The position requires direct involvement with daily operations and future projects to assure activities support facility goals and objectives.
**Essential Functions**
+ Support the facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) consistently meet / exceed established goals, including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and maintenance. Maintain daily reports that are established to measure daily, weekly and monthly KPI's.
+ Develop and maintain inventory control systems that meet ongoing and future facility needs
+ Develop and manage the facility cycle count program and the inventory recoup/repack/return/recycle program.
+ Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues and office support to the I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping office personnel.
+ Facilitates and executes the hold process for local site
+ Track day-to-day facility inventory costs as they affect facility KPI's and effectively communicate results to appropriate team members
+ Ensure daily communications and shift meetings provide the necessary information for employees to do their jobs consistently well while making them feel a real part of the team

Based out of our **Kennesaw, GA** location, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of inventory and warehouse operations, including Receiving, Stock Room oversight, internal Kanban systems, job picking, cycle counting, and internal material delivery. Inventory Supervisor reports to the Senior Logistics Manager and has overall responsibility for tracking incoming and finished goods materials, packaging supplies, etc. required in the warehousing and distribution of customer products. Provides accounting support regarding inventory issues. Reporting to this position are cycle counters and a clerk. The position requires direct involvement with daily operations and future projects to assure activities support facility goals and objectives.
**Essential Functions**
+ Support the facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) consistently meet / exceed established goals, including but not limited to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and maintenance. Maintain daily reports that are established to measure daily, weekly and monthly KPI's.
+ Develop and maintain inventory control systems that meet ongoing and future facility needs
+ Develop and manage the facility cycle count program and the inventory recoup/repack/return/recycle program.
+ Provide floor support to Operations Supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues and office support to the I/O Coordinators and receiving/shipping office personnel.
+ Facilitates and executes the hold process for local site
+ Track day-to-day facility inventory costs as they affect facility KPI's and effectively communicate results to appropriate team members
+ Ensure daily communications and shift meetings provide the necessary information for employees to do their jobs consistently well while making them feel a real part of the team

A Brief Overview

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, warehouse auditing,

supervising Cycle Counters, and the execution of inventory-related tasks. This role ensures all inventory

activities align with company policies, safety guidelines, and operational goals. The Inventory Control Supervisor

will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate inventory records and improve inventory

control processes.

What you will do

· Creates reports for Cycle Counters of inventory to be counted and reconcile inventory reports for

inconsistencies with warehouse support.

· Reviewing work orders for inventory transactions based on a pre-defined specification and investigating

why there’s inconsistencies with cross-functional support.

· Managing inventory transactions, accurately recording inventory movements in the warehouse

management system, and maintaining documentation of inventory adjustments and counts.

· Conduct audits of inventory to ensure accuracy.

· Responsible for participating in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, following plant GMP policies

regarding warehouse area, and identifying and recommending improvements to inventory processes.

· Responsible for communicating inventory issues and findings to management, collaborating with other

departments to resolve inventory discrepancies, and supporting cross-functional inventory projects as

needed.

· Assist in training Cycle Counters on inventory control procedures.

· Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

· Maintain an annual performance evaluation rating of average or better.

· Some duties may vary slightly by location.

Education Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

Experience Qualifications
