The Role:
We are looking to add an Associate to our Investing team. The perfect candidate is someone who can hit the ground running by slotting directly into deal teams, supporting the execution of deal processes from start to finish, and supporting the evolution of our capital allocation strategy. This position is based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform due diligence, analysis and execution across multiple simultaneous acquisitions
- Prepare investment memos and letters of intent; present investment opportunities/findings to team and investors
- Construct detailed financial models and returns analyses
- Coordinate the execution of investment transactions across all parties involved (i.e. due diligence providers, counsel, investors, portfolio company management, etc.)
- Mentor and support junior analysts through early career development
Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
- 2 years of investment banking or private equity investing experience

Primary Purpose:
An Investing Operator will perform wax mold investing operations on aerospace product.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use a wire wheel grinder to remove ceramic material from handles, bolts, and strongbacks.
- Set up, prepare, and test mixtures for slurry.
- Operate and monitor automatic dipping equipment.
- Clean and grease robot head.
- Load and unload molds from conveyor.
- Cut mesh wire to specifications using a hand shear and mechanical shear.
- Bend metal banding around strongbacks.
- Load and unload product from carts.
- Prior industry experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Good attendance record required.
- Able to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to withstand long periods of standing and walking.
- HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.

The Lead for Women's health will oversee a portfolio of work in the field of Responsible and sustainable funding in women's health. The position offers room for entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work closely with private sector constituencies and would suit an individual with experience in consortium-building, fund building, investment management, impact investing, and ideally in global health / women's health.
Reporting Lines and Interactions
This position will report to the Head of the Global Alliance for Women's Health.
A successful candidate will play a key role in scoping, launching and managing the initiatives and facilitating engagement among Forum constituents - both business and non-business.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues from Shaping the Future of Health and Healthcare (Head of the Centre on the Future of Health and Healthcare, Head of Industry, Account Managers, Project Leads, Fellows), other relevant Centres, the Program Development Team; and other teams.
Main responsibilities
* Project design: Develop a cohesive strategy for the Women's Health Sustainable Investing Consortium that includes scoping, designing and developing an investment consortium and fund for women's health
* Project management: Keep project and initiatives on target, timeline, and budget through the effective management of internal and external stakeholders, budgets, deliverables and processes, as well as through effective communication and reporting via relevant tools
* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage a diverse set of external senior stakeholders from the financial services and investing industries, among other critical stakeholders, on strategic deliverables, convenings, frameworks and governance.
Contribute to identification and growth of the community of potential and existing Forum partners, with particular focus on expanding funding commitment opportunities.
* Events Management: Lead annual meetings for the consortium by leveraging Forum networks, platforms, and public engagement opportunities.
* Content curation: Contribute to thought-leadership, lead on relevant publications and briefing papers on women's health, focusing particularly sustainable investing.
Preferred requirements and experience
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field, e.g., public health, health economics, business).
* Strong understanding of the women's health eco-system, such as providers, research, pharmaceuticals, policy makers and advocacy groups.
* 7+ years of experience in global health, strategy consulting, academia, or international organizations, with a focus on health, healthcare, health financing and women's health. An understanding of investment management would be an asset.
* Demonstrated ability to lead the strategic design, implementation and evaluation of consortiums, programmes and/or projects, including in multi-stakeholder or cross-sector settings.
* Executive level presence and presentation skills with the ability to interact efficiently and effectively with global leaders.
* Proven project management and coordination skills; attention to detail; capacity to apply critical thinking, synthesize various viewpoints, effectively communicate critical messages, and consult broadly across diverse stakeholders.
* A flexible, agile, and politically astute mindset necessary for working with fast-paced teams in dynamic environments.
* Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional foreign languages a plus

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Oversee day-to-day workflow and assignment of new opportunities from the origination teams.
* Review initial deal projections, financial analysis, and deal preflight package to advise deal team on risk analysis, structuring, and profitability.
* Coordinate with Syndication Business Development and Fund Management teams to ensure alignment of deal structure, pricing, internal rate of return (IRR), and terms with investor requirements and placement expectations.
* Facilitate timely deal-level decision making of new opportunities to meet business, client, and investor needs.
* Support ongoing management, maintenance, and enhancements of internal LIHTC equity and debt projection model.
* Review Letter of Intent (LOI) and Term Sheet offerings as necessary to ensure alignment of terms and structure.

* Oversee and manage the quality and accuracy of new business pipelines with Relationship Managers and Line of Business stakeholders.
* Train, develop, and motivate a highly engaged team of Production Analysts.
* Collaborate on creating and implementing origination, underwriting, and operational efficiencies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 10 years of LIHTC experience, 5-7 years experience in low income housing tax credit investments with underwriting or origination experience
* Proven experience and broad understanding of LIHTC investments, tax exempt bond financing and other government loan programs for housing development
* Proven ability to drive origination or risk management processes individually or as a part of a team
* Proven ability to work with a wide range of deal types and clients, including for-profit and non-profit developers and governmental agencies
* Demonstrated proficiency in executing a disciplined sales process
* Advanced MS Office Proficiency, particularly Excel
* The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or commensurate experience
