PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
As the Analyst, Financial Planning - Operations you will independently lead the Financial Planning process for a portfolio of business units, working with key stakeholders to ensure precision in the forecasting process and provide high-quality analyses to Operational and Finance leadership. This position will also be responsible for leading the annual budgeting process, maintaining an accurate expense forecast, and providing financial analytical insight into Operations.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Translate operational changes into a financial forecast with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Proactively look for improvements in the forecasting process; identifying key drivers while gaining a thorough understanding of the business model

Overview
This position is responsible for corporate level budgeting and financial planning duties and will work in close coordination with PPL's corporate budgeting team. The Senior Analyst will serve a key role in PPL Corporation (PPL Corp.) budgeting and business planning process including ongoing management and administration of the Company's budgeting activities throughout the year, PPL Services Corporation's ("PPL Services") cost allocation activities and the associated rate case filings, internal reporting to senior management, and special projects that require the expertise of the budgeting section of Financial Planning.
