Job Description

Citi is seeking a highly motivated SVP, Cards Investment & Planning Manager to lead our technology investment strategy, resource prioritization, and budget oversight for the Branded Cards & Lending business. In this critical role, you will coordinate strategic decisioning across a broad set of senior stakeholders, shaping the future of our technology investments. We are looking for a candidate with a proactive attitude, exceptional communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust investment and prioritization framework, ensuring that all investment opportunities are aligned with our strategic objectives. This includes guiding initiatives through their entire lifecycle, from initial prioritization and requirements readiness to successful development, all while ensuring the efficient use of our technology resources and managing a $100MM+ technology budget.
Responsibilities:
**Investment Planning & Strategic Alignment:**
+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive investment evaluation framework.
+ Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investment opportunities, working with key stakeholders in the business, technology, finance, and other areas as needed.
+ Prepare clear and concise investment proposals and presentations for senior management, highlighting rationale, risks, and potential returns.
+ Facilitate decision-making among senior leaders to effectively prioritize investments.
**Prioritization & Resource Allocation:**
+ Establish and champion a transparent and well-organized prioritization process for projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
+ Meticulously monitor and track the budget for investments and projects, providing regular, insightful updates and recommendations to senior management.
+ Act as team subject matter expert in navigating Citi's centrally managed Investments and Prioritization systems, and execute investments decisions within these systems
**Reporting & Communication:**
+ Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of investment and prioritization processes.
+ Prepare regular, informative reports and presentations for senior management, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
+ Communicate proactively and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, building strong relationships and fostering a collaborative environment.
**Process Improvement:**
+ Continuously evaluate and proactively improve existing investment and prioritization processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Stay informed of industry best practices and emerging trends in investment management and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
+ Experience: 10+ years of experience in financial services, with significant experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.

The Head of Services Investment Planning and Business Process Improvement (C-16) will lead the Services global technology investment processes and the execution and adoption of the Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM*) across all Services products, functions, operations, and technology teams.
