Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for a highly skilled Asset Investment Planning Analyst to support a long-term contract engagement for a client in the Dayton, Ohio area. This role will lead the integration of fleet and facility-related projects into the client's enterprise asset investment planning platform, Copperleaf. This role will also lead the development of a Strategic Campus Master Plan for two campus locations, aligning infrastructure investments with long-term business goals, sustainability targets, and operational efficiency. This role will work primarily out of the client's location in Dayton, OH (some hybrid flexibility). This is a contract/project role that has an expected duration of 1 year.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration of fleet and facility-related projects into enterprise asset investment planning platforms, such as Copperleaf.
- Develop and implement a Strategic Campus Master Plan to align infrastructure investments with sustainability goals and business objectives.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of capital projects with long-term operational efficiency.
- Conduct detailed analysis of asset management strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Utilize tools like Excel and Power BI to analyze data and create actionable insights for decision-making.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in asset management, capital planning, or facilities strategy.
- Proficiency with Copperleaf or similar asset investment planning platforms is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of utility operations, fleet management, and facility planning is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in aligning infrastructure investments with long-term business goals.

Job Description
The Production & Incentive Planning ("PIP") team provides comprehensive support to all business units within the Disney enterprise by identifying and pursuing global government-based incentive opportunities, including those related to film and television production. As part of the Corporate Tax division, this group is dedicated to uncovering potential savings, evaluating and managing risks, and implementing strategic changes to optimize these benefits in alignment with operational goals. The PIP team works in close collaboration with Tax Planning & Operations, business units, and key operational partners such as Government Relations, Global Public Policy, Finance, Legal Affairs, Business Affairs, and Accounting. Additionally, the team acts as Disney's representative in discussions and negotiations with government officials and other stakeholders (i.e. MPA, film commissions, etc.) regarding incentive programs.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
This position primarily supports the Lead Principal, Production & Incentive Planning through coordination of various responsibilities:
Administrative:
+ Facilitate meeting requests with internal partners and external stakeholders, including senior executives
+ Coordinate data requests and approvals from relevant parties
+ Prepare correspondence, newsletters, and presentation materials
+ Manage general office tasks, including onboarding of employees or contractors, supply procurement, payment/journal processing, and travel arrangements
Project/Task Coordination:
+ Assist with the management and maintenance of an internal project tracking system to ensure accurate monitoring of production activities and related tasks across multiple jurisdictions
+ Aggregate Key Performance Indicator ("KPI") metrics for leadership reporting
+ Track business unit inquiries and data requests using project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Microsoft solutions)
+ Conduct tax research and maintain global incentive changes with appropriate review.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Experience in physical production, incentives, finance, accounting, and/or taxation
+ Proven ability to cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders
+ Superior written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $87,200 to $106,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Job Description
The Utility Investment Planning Project manager will utilize extensive knowledge in electrical transmission and distribution systems to develop long-range investment plans for projects supporting electric utilities. The project manager will support a broad range of studies and other consulting services around aging infrastructure, system resilience and reliability, and electrification. The studies will provide a holistic and integrated review of the system and provide financially justifiable long-term investment portfolios helping the electric industry with challenges associated with integrating renewables and electrification into the system.
The project manager will develop engineering, statistical, and financial models to assess the risks of equipment failure within the transmission and distribution system to determine capital improvements for mitigating the identified risks. The project manager will be required to work with numerous entities in the industry including investor-owned electric utilities, municipal electric utilities, and electric cooperatives. This project manager will be a seller-doer, conducting sales and marketing activities and executing projects. The project manager will spend time directly engaged with clients to identify new work, prepare proposals, establish study objectives, formulate project approaches, and manage/oversee a team of consultants/engineers to meet the study objectives and provide the client with useful and actionable deliverables.
Responsibilities:
The project manager is responsible for, and manages, all aspects of projects from business development, scope, and fee development, staffing plan development, project oversight and execution, quality management, and financial performance responsibilities. The project manager will support and lead both on-the-job and classroom training efforts for less experienced team members. Key responsibilities will include:
+ Business development: Develop new, and manage existing, client relationships through client marketing and project interactions; identify new sales opportunities with clients; lead all aspects of proposal development and submission including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling; establish critical project objectives and performances with the client; lead contract preparation and negotiations.
+ Project execution: Lead all aspects of project execution including scope, schedule, and budget; ensure quality control of deliverables; analyze and communicate project status, risks, schedule, and costs to all internal and external stakeholders; lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts; plan, organize, and communicate project personnel needs to department management.
+ Leadership: Mentor and train less experienced staff on technical and business aspects of projects and the industry; serve as a recognized industry leader in power generation planning and evaluation; support company initiatives.
+ Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor of Science in engineering, accounting, finance, or related degree from an accredited program.
+ Minimum 5 years related experience; working for, or providing consulting services to, electric utilities, including 3 or more years managing engineering or consulting projects.
+ Deep and broad base of knowledge regarding electric transmission and distribution systems.
+ Extensive project experience working with large data sets and data analytical tools, consisting of both engineering and financial information.
+ Extensive knowledge of utility electric distribution system planning, design, construction, operations, and maintenance of distribution facilities.
+ Proven ability to lead, educate, and train a team of engineers and analysts regarding power generation studies.
+ Proven ability to lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and analysts.
+ General business and financial calculation knowledge.
+ Effective Project Management skills.
+ Ability to work with existing and new clients to identify new projects, articulate to the clients our ability to perform those projects, and translate that into the sale of consulting services.
