+ Capable of leading multiple design reviews, providing guidance and adding technical input at various steps throughout the design process, reviewing layouts, stress reports and drawings to ensure engineering excellent and high-quality product for GSE designs.
+ Design and develop new mechanical GSE for new maintenance requirements, airplane changes and customers' requests.
+ GSE design focal for aircraft engineering systems and design integration with discipline application of GSE specifications and contract requirements.
+ Seasoned experience with 3-D CAD Modeling packages: CATIA, ENOVIA with prior C-17, NX, Teamcenter experience preferred.
+ Monitoring project budgets and timelines, ensuring that design activities are completed on schedule and within budget.
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautics/Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

**Typical Education & Experience:**
+ Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
