Position Summary:

Presents a positive image to Halperns' Steak and Seafood customers through courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of Halperns' products. Communicates customer issues and concerns. Essential Functions:
  • Ensures safe, accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of Halperns' products.
  • Follows all company and Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and procedures.
  • Builds and maintains good customer relationships. Demonstrates self-control.
  • Accurately collects customer payments. Safeguards company funds and follows Halperns' banking policies.
  • Monitors reefer temperature, and reports mechanical issues and damages in a timely manner.
  • Completes daily check-ins in a timely manner with no errors.
  • Collaborates with management and sales representatives to communicate customer concerns.
  • Performs daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicles and equipment. Completes check in process accurately and on time. Manages paperwork to include register, credits, pick-ups, etc
  • Maintains the truck cab and trailer in a clean and organized manner
  • Attends department meetings

Under limited supervision, perform a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties in order to provide a clean, orderly and safe environment; must ensure that all equipment is clean, orderly, and is functioning at all times. Performs related work as assigned and/or requested.

  • Apply deep understanding of tax compliance and consulting for a variety of entities, including corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and Subchapter S corporations;
  • Demonstrate technical prowess with ASC740;
  • Identify and address client needs and develop and sustain client relationships;
  • Use networking, negotiation, and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities;
  • Prepare and present complex written and verbal materials;
  • Define resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection;
  • Lead teams to generate a vision, establish direction, and motivate members;
  • Create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
