+ Lead monthly execution of the USCAN Imaging SOR, ROR & MOR Process and collaboration with the Imaging Segment, USCAN Region, and USCAN Imaging staff. L1-L2-L3.

Essential Functions
- Lead all aspects of the company’s tax function, including income tax compliance, tax provision, planning, audits, and reporting, for direct and indirect tax in the US and Canada.
- Lead and develop a high-performing tax team, fostering growth and technical expertise.
- Oversee the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual tax provision under ASC 740, including effective tax rate analysis and footnote disclosures for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).
- Perform high level review of all material tax filings to ensure understanding of reporting issues and positions and to ensure proper reflection of tax planning positions for corporate transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, local, and international tax returns and payments.
- Monitor and interpret current and proposed tax legislation and assess impact on the company’s operations and financial position.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the company’s global tax structure.
- Analyze and prioritize planning strategies and projects taking into consideration the business implications as well as efficiencies and benefits.
- Forecast income tax expense and cash taxes and provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate, help select and manage relationships with third-party tax providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance to ensure quality service delivery.
- Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Guide the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of tax technology systems, with an emphasis on automation, accuracy, and control.
- Enhance the tax operating model, driving process improvements, reengineering work flows, balancing workloads, and embedding best practices.
- Support M&A and restructuring activities from a tax perspective, including due diligence, modeling, and integration.
- Act as overall coordinator and quality control for incoming requests for tax planning input and discussions with non-tax personnel of tax planning decisions and results with respect to potential, planned, or in process corporate transactions.
- Maintain and improve internal controls over tax reporting to comply with SOX requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and external partners.
- Facilitate minimization of corporate exposure of all forms of taxation.

The Director of Tax will lead the Company’s tax strategy, planning, compliance, and reporting functions. This individual will ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and international tax regulations and oversee the preparation and review of tax filings and financial statement disclosures. As a publicly traded company, the Director of Tax will play a critical role in managing tax provision processes under ASC 740 and maintaining SOX compliance. The Director of Tax will lead an internal team of tax professionals and manage third party tax service providers.

Essential Functions
- Lead all aspects of the company’s tax function, including income tax compliance, tax provision, planning, audits, and reporting, for direct and indirect tax in the US and Canada.
- Lead and develop a high-performing tax team, fostering growth and technical expertise.
- Oversee the preparation and review of the quarterly and annual tax provision under ASC 740, including effective tax rate analysis and footnote disclosures for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).
- Perform high level review of all material tax filings to ensure understanding of reporting issues and positions and to ensure proper reflection of tax planning positions for corporate transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, local, and international tax returns and payments.
- Monitor and interpret current and proposed tax legislation and assess impact on the company’s operations and financial position.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize the company’s global tax structure.
- Analyze and prioritize planning strategies and projects taking into consideration the business implications as well as efficiencies and benefits.
- Forecast income tax expense and cash taxes and provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate, help select and manage relationships with third-party tax providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance to ensure quality service delivery.
- Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Guide the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of tax technology systems, with an emphasis on automation, accuracy, and control.
- Enhance the tax operating model, driving process improvements, reengineering work flows, balancing workloads, and embedding best practices.
- Support M&A and restructuring activities from a tax perspective, including due diligence, modeling, and integration.
- Act as overall coordinator and quality control for incoming requests for tax planning input and discussions with non-tax personnel of tax planning decisions and results with respect to potential, planned, or in process corporate transactions.
- Maintain and improve internal controls over tax reporting to comply with SOX requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and external partners.
- Facilitate minimization of corporate exposure of all forms of taxation.

Qualifications
- 15 or more years of corporate tax experience with similar-size organizations
- Solid background in U.S. corporate tax compliance, GAAP, and other related U.S. accounting standards
- Industry related experience preferred
- Experience in management of a tax team or organization in a publicly traded company
- Experience managing third party tax service providers
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Advanced degree in Tax or Master of Taxation - preferred
- Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Expertise in corporate tax principles, methods, and applications
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Track record of driving continuous improvement through people, process, technology and data-driven decision-making
- Experience with tax compliance and provision software (Corptax or similar)
- Experience with developing a strategic process to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with all tax-related activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively and build trust across the organization
- Thorough understanding of the business operations and goals
- Proven project management capabilities
- Ability to develop positive morale, create a sense of ownership and client service in a results-driven team environment, both functionally and with the rest of the organization
