As an IT Intern, you will assist with the following:

System Administration and IT Support

Summary:

Scotty's Contracting and Stone is seeking a tech-savvy and motivated IT Intern to join our IT team. This hands-on role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in troubleshooting, system maintenance, and user support. The position will work alongside experienced IT professionals to assist in maintaining technology systems, resolving technical issues, and supporting end users across the organization. Work is performed under the guidance of the IT Manager, with opportunities to take on more complex tasks as skills develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to staff on hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications
  • Monitor system performance and assist in resolving issues
  • Support IT team in implementing new technologies and tools
  • Document technical procedures and update knowledge base
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software
  • Familiarity with Windows environments
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
