Job Description

INVENTORY ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Inventory associate ensures that all products are accounted for, either on the shelves, or picked up. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily scan of all purchased products still on shelves, in order of auction close date
• Ensure the product is situated on the correct shelves
• Ensure all items are either in the warehouse properly or scanned as picked up by the customer
• Review the missing product list to search for missing items
• Escalate missing product to the general manager if not found
• Organize/neaten product for easy retrieval (bar codes on outside, product stacked safely)
• Be proficient with the inventory check interface dashboard
• Know how auction items are categorized on the shelves, including auction and lot numbers
• May help with removal if workload dictates
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday for 8 hours with a half-hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be tech savvy
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

Production Planner – Responsibilities & Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and manage production schedules, ensuring inventory levels are monitored and products are delivered to customers on time.
• Coordinate production workflows for multiple product lines, estimating required materials, equipment, and labor.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize delays.
• Adjust production schedules as needed to meet deadlines while considering material, labor, and equipment availability.
• Determine raw material requirements to meet production demand.
• Monitor manufacturing performance to ensure timely completion of production targets.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production output reports.
• Compile and submit status and performance reports to management in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized production documentation and paperwork.
• Collaborate with the master scheduler and other relevant functions to ensure on-time completion of production orders.

Training & Safety Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain HSE training matrices for each employee, including certifications such as Forklift, Crane, and HSE LDP.
• Assist with scheduling and conducting monthly safety awareness training.
• Scan, file, and maintain electronic records of quizzes and attendance.
• Perform document control for HSE documents using systems like ABRA and Adonis.
• Conduct PPE assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of proven experience as a Production Planner.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and material management principles.
• Hands-on experience with MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong statistical analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
