Unity(TM) Lab Services is a business segment that supports the Customer Channels Group, which provides critical outsourced on-site services at customer locations focused on improving supply chain and research operations efficiency and effectiveness.
The position is focused primarily on scientific support services within Unity Lab Services core offerings of: Stockroom and point-of-use inventory management, sourcing and order management, dock management and laboratory support services.
**What will you do?**
+ Make on-site program replenishments and disbursements. Performs stockroom duties to include: receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other functions according to customer requirements.
+ Follows well defined Best Practices, SOP's & work instructions. Take direction from Manager (and Team Lead where appropriate) regarding daily duties.
+ Promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements without the presence of site trainer and management team.
+ Listens to customer concerns, diffuses dissatisfaction, and quickly identifies course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times
+ Proactively communicates with supervisor any customer concerns and/or potential problems.
+ Represents Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations, professionally and positively.

**How will you get here?**
+ Background for minimum of 3-5 Years in warehousing and logistics preferred
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
**Experience:**
+ Experience in logistics operations and warehousing preferred
+ Preferred 2 Year experience in attention to detail, problem solving and working in a team environment, preferably within a laboratory setting or services
+ Some first leadership experience preferred
+ Validated customer service skills with shown verbal and written skills
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
+ Possesses a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels of personnel at the customer site.

**Compensation and Benefits**
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $5.26- 22.89.

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Inventory associate ensures that all products are accounted for, either on the shelves, or picked up. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily scan of all purchased products still on shelves, in order of auction close date
- Ensure the product is situated on the correct shelves
- Ensure all items are either in the warehouse properly or scanned as picked up by the customer
- Review the missing product list to search for missing items
- Escalate missing product to the general manager if not found
- Organize/neaten product for easy retrieval (bar codes on outside, product stacked safely)
- Be proficient with the inventory check interface dashboard
- Know how auction items are categorized on the shelves, including auction and lot numbers
- May help with removal if workload dictates
- Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday for 8 hours with a half-hour lunch break, hours to be determined by workload and General Manager
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift

The Supervisor ensures adequate inventory of material and products in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. Provide training and motivation to team members, using recognition, positive feedback, and other rewards with appropriate discretion in a continuous improvement environment. Follows all health and safety standards and enforces the use of PPE's.
**Key Responsibilities**
● Complies with and promotes all GMP's
● Executes and Promotes safe work practices at all times
● Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
● Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures (FIFO)
● Train staff in product dating and create procedures to eliminate loss
● Notify leadership of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability

● Basic math skills required (counting, multiplication, conversions, fractions)

Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Growth
* Evaluate, onboard, and manage strategic relationships with SSPs, ad exchanges, direct publishers, and emerging supply partners (e.g., CTV platforms, retail media networks, gaming environments).
* Negotiate high-value deals and expand existing partnerships to integrate cutting-edge product features and inventory advancements, focusing on supply path optimization (SPO) and inventory quality.
* Identify and commercialize new inventory offerings, including advanced CTV, DOOH, in-game, retail media, and high-impact immersive formats, ensuring Cadent maintains a competitive edge.
Market Intelligence & Innovation
* Act as the internal subject matter expert on the latest supply-side trends, ad formats, and technological advancements, including server-side integrations, identity solutions, and attention metrics.
* Maintain a robust understanding of the competitive landscape, developing clear POVs and differentiators for each supply partner.
Technical Integration & Performance Optimization
* Work hand-in-hand with Product and Engineering teams to ensure seamless technical integrations, troubleshoot delivery issues, and maintain optimal connectivity with partners.
* Manage company-wide inventory governance and technical specifications, ensuring brand safety and adherence to industry standards.
* Conduct ongoing analysis of inventory performance using advanced data analytics to identify high-performing partners, publishers, and media types.
Qualifications
* 3+ years' experience in the digital advertising industry, prior experience working at a DSP/SSP/Exchange a plus
* Must have an understanding of online advertising dynamics, trends, and technologies; and campaign planning & buying (including RTB)
* Possess strong analytical framework and ability to problem solve highly technical issues
* Excellent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Ability to work with colleagues and external vendors at all levels; deep relationship building expertise
* Strong problem solving and consulting skills
* Must be able to see the big picture and be able to rally others behind that picture
* Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills
* Effective time management skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, proactive prioritization, and delivery of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

**_Job Summary_**
The Manager, Inventory Management leads the site's Inventory Management team and oversees the stocking optimization and inventory planning in the facility through a team of Supervisors and other professionals. The Manager contributes to the facility's profitability through managing supplier costs and driving operational improvements. As a primary liaison to the Souring function, the Manager provides key input into supplier negotiations, demand planning and forecasting and also translates operational changes in the broader distribution network into requirements for the facility.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Oversees the site's Inventory Management team by setting short- and long-term objectives, directing tasks for individual teams and professionals, and providing guidance on complex issues. Leads regular meetings with Supervisors to ensure alignment.
+ Drives the profitability and operating margins of the facility by implementing supplier contracts with minimal costs. Regularly monitors revenues and costs at the supplier level and assesses opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
+ Based on expert knowledge of the facility's operations and analyses and reporting conducted by managed team, provides inputs into supplier negotiations executed by Sourcing teams. Ensures that supplier agreements are aligned to the capabilities and economics of the facility.
+ Provides input and feedback into the business unit's demand planning and forecasting based on inventory planning and supplier relations.
+ Evaluates the impact of changes in standard operating procedures, network planning and major supplier agreements on the facility's operations. Coordinates with Managers, Warehouse Operations and other site leaders in order to modify operations to meet new requirements and customer commitments.
+ Evaluates performance of teams and of direct reports, providing regular feedback and development opportunities. Participates in people management activities including performance reviews, recruiting and onboarding, and talent management.
