Summary
HSC is seeking a driven student for 2026 Summer Internship. This position is open to qualified and highly committed students enrolled in college. It allows the selected student to work side-by-side with IT personnel to assist with development, and maintenance of various IT applications such as custom web applications and Critical Manufacturing. This role is onsite at our facility in Hemlock, MI.
Essential Functions
The student will be assigned tasks and projects based on their education level, current skills, and targeted development opportunities in line with current business and project needs. This can include:
- Understand current set of custom web applications across multiple technologies
- Build new applications and/ or make changes to current applications
- Develop and test code for the user stories associated with the Critical Manufacturing implementation project
- Prepare technical documentation and test scripts for the developed/ changed functionality
- Learn various project management methodologies including Agile
- Propose novel solutions based on the new technologies as per the IT roadmap
- High School Diploma
- Preferred Field of Study: Computer Science/Computer Engineering
- The candidate must attend a 4-year university and pursue a certificate or degree in a similar field of study
- Minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale
- Must be full-time student (12 or more credits) during fall and winter semesters
- The candidate must be able to work full time during the duration of the summer internship
- The candidate must be within driving distance to the site and have reliable transportation
- Intern/Co-op experience in relative field of study
Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, variable bonus, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.

The overall responsibilities of this position include being a resource to assist Morbark Dealers and Customers with Service and Parts orders and issues. Reports to our Product Support Manager.
**Essential Functions of the Job:**
+ Support Dealers/Customers in solving Parts and Service issues with Morbark equipment.
+ Accountable for resolving any issues, equipment or otherwise.
+ Be the authority on features, benefits and performance characteristics of all products.
+ Support all Customer Support Call Center efforts.
+ Work with the sales team and distributors to clarify exact requirements of all special orders.
+ Assist Warranty Department with service and parts information.
+ Assist with the creation and building of Morbark Parts & Service training and manuals.
+ Communicate changes of delivery to dealers, customers and internal stakeholders.
+ Develop processes that positively impact the department and provide growth strategies.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):**
+ Expert level of knowledge of all the features, benefits and performance characteristics of Morbark product line.
+ Computer Skills: Proficiency with Excel, Word required and JDE preferred.
+ Develop and present ideas and findings to management level.
+ Possess excellent communication skills and strong negotiating skills.
+ Must have good mathematical skills with good business acumen.
+ Electrical system diagnostic & trouble shooting skills.
+ Mechanical & drivetrain system diagnostic & trouble shooting skills.
+ Hydraulic system diagnostic & trouble shooting skills.
+ Diesel engine diagnostic & trouble shooting skills.

**Education and Experience:**

Role Description: The Information Technology-Business/Systems Analyst-Dynamics must have 10-12+ years of experience.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 3+ years of experience leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain implementations
- Strong understanding of procurement, warehousing, and transportation standards
- Perform requirements gathering and fit/gap analysis
- Deign functional requirements for customizations and integrations
- Comfortable working in Data Management to migrate master data & transactions from third party systems to D365
- Lead testing and training sessions with the client, including CRP and UAT
- Deliver quality documentation to the client such as functional design documents, test scripts, and training scripts
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-focused environment
- Travel for major project milestones
- MS Supply Chain Management certification preferred but not required

- 1 Leading Advanced Warehousing
