Peak Partner’s client, a direct marketing services firm, is seeking an initiative-taking individual for the role of System Administrator. The System Administrator is a skilled troubleshooter and help desk support provider, with a broad range of technical skills to maintain a complex network.
This is an onsite temp to perm position located in the Howard County area of Maryland.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Windows and Ubuntu ServerNetwork troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Assist with backup and recovery of system software and user data.
- Provide day-to-day support to IT systems including operations, monitoring, and problem resolution.
- Support remotemobile users using remote assistance tools.
- Help with the installation of custom and third-party software, operating system and hardware patches, firmware updates, and related components.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with HP, Dell servers and laptops, and workstations.
- MS365 administration is a big plus as well as Ubuntu server's configuration and maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and Wi-Fi systems.
- Knowledge of and experience with MS Office suite required.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT Science or MCSA/MCSE certification.
- Familiarity with SonicWALL systems and solutions.
