The Technical Sales Engineer, or as it is known internally, the Technical Solutions Specialist, is responsible for providing technical expertise to sales representatives, resellers and/or customers during the sales process. They are responsible for the development and use of software tools to improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Quotations, Technical Clarifications, Orders and Change Orders.
This position reports to the Technical Solutions Manager - Americas and is part of the Technical Sales Team located in North America and will be an on-site role based in Deland, FL or Cortland, NY.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Utilize standard work processes to meet key deliverables, KPIs, and metrics as a path to provide improved customer satisfaction.
+ Reference competitive product knowledge within market advantage applications, and coordinate with competitive product SMEs/Marketing to select the right technology and product offer with cost-effective solutions
+ Communicate with clients and Outside Sales Associates to discuss requirements and provide the right solution per specification.
+ Manage project execution from RFQ to shipment, with a team of associates and suppliers.
+ Practice proven process improvement strategies to reduce waste and improve efficiency
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent Mechanical or Technical experience.
+ 5+ years relevant work experience
+ Technical Specifications, Pressure vessel drawings, Industrial Processes or Filtration
+ Proficient in the use of Outlook, SAP, Sales Force, MS Office computer applications including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Travel

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 USD This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 USD This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
