This is an intermediate professional level role. Develops security solutions for medium to high complex assignments. Works on multiple projects as a team member and lead network-related security components. May coach more junior technical staff.
In this role you will be involved in the full life cycle of network security management. Assists in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures and measures in a networking environment. Responsible for firewall configuration, maintenance, monitoring and other various network security measures. Performs security assessments and reviews networking initiatives for security compliance. Prepares status reports on security matters to develop security risk analysis scenarios and response procedures. Acts as a backup for and works in conjunction with the Senior Network Administrator. Role Accountabilities -Define and maintain efficient protocols for safeguarding data and ensuring data accessibility to support daily operations -Ensure the implementation of adequate security measures to protect the Company's diverse information systems and assets -Develop, test and update as necessary data protection/data accessibility plans for inclusion in the business continuity plan and execute as needed -Conduct needs analysis, solicit bids and formulate options for procurement and rollout of networking hardware, software and services and implement as approved -Define and sustain efficient processes for monitoring, detecting, and rectifying security and performance issues in networking, personal/mobile computer, and communication platforms -Maintain essential cybersecurity-related documentation and procedures -Perform, track, and report regular cybersecurity audits and tests to pinpoint network and system vulnerabilities and help define necessary improvements -Monitor network resources continuously to ensure availability to meet the Company's needs -Implement network updates and security enhancements with minimal disruption to business operations -Provide reports to appropriate personnel regarding effectiveness of infrastructure and make recommendations for the adoption of new procedures General Employee Accountabilities - Bring full effort to bear on tasks assigned by manager - Give manager best advice - Give earliest notice when work cannot be delivered as specified - Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager - Exemplify Company Core Values: Integrity, Client Focus, Team Orientation, and Personal Commitment - Comply with all Company policies, practices, and procedures and all regulations and laws - Recommend viable improvements proactively - Ensure effective utilization of business tools and processes Requirements Minimum Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience -7 years' experience in networking and security management -Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Identity, Security, and Compliance -Demonstrated experience with Cisco networking infrastructure -Demonstrated experience in security policies and frameworks -Demonstrated success expanding aggregate knowledge and skills of the IT team(s) and sharing knowledge proactively -Demonstrated success leading IT technical and business projects -Demonstrated success identifying system gaps and emerging technologies that support accuracy, productivity, and business growth -Demonstrated ability to deliver a project or multiple projects on time, from concept through deployment -Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts -Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills -Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility -Proficiency in MS Office and network and endpoint security tools -Availability to travel domestically and internationally, less than 5%, sometimes with limited notice Preferred Qualifications -Demonstrated experience in security policies and frameworks, including NIST SP 800-171 and PRISMA -Demonstrated experience in a recognized business process methodology Link to TMEIC Corporation Americas website: To be considered an applicant for any available positions, individuals must complete an online job application for each posting.
