Position: Network Security Specialist

Duration: 06-12 Months Contract
A ForeScout Sr. Specialist provides onsite technical knowledge to accomplish the administration and monitoring of forescouts products/deployment. The Sr. Specialist, after an appropriate training period, must be able to solve technical product issues independently. The associate is also expected to understand all aspect of the customer environment and the Forescout product deployment. The Sr. Specialist role is to ensure deployment success and Ascension teams satisfaction.
- On-site customer support and system administration of customer enterprise deployment of ForeScout
- Interface with ForeScout Support and/or R&D for any escalations.
- Definition and creation of polices in accordance with Ascensions business requirements.
- Manage equipment installation and configuration at each site
- Manage Forescout software and hardware upgrades
- Project management of the ForeScout solution in accordance with the Ascensions business goals.
- Create needed reporting
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in an IT related field
- 5 years of experience with network hardware configuration
- 5 years of significant experience with Windows based operating systems and Unix systems, specifically Linux.
- Expertise in technologies involved in large scale enterprise deployments/data centers
- Experience in deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus solutions, application firewalls, high availability solutions, network management systems and virtual systems.
- Experience with tools such as Nmap, Nessus, and tcpdump
- Experience implementing and using complicated software products that involve multiple components
- Ability to clearly document complicated steps and procedures
- Design and architecture experience a plus
- Working knowledge of shell, perl and xml scripting.
- Excellent communications skills, strong customer orientation, good organizational skills, self-driven with ability to multi-task on various projects and aptitude to learn new technologies
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working in demanding and challenging environments
Education:
- Bachelor Degree of Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- ForeScout Certified Administrator (FSCA)/ForeScout Certified Engineer (FSCE) a plus
- CISSP, CEH, CISM, and/or CCSP a plus
- Network Security with Forescout experience
