Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 1:1 supports with significant consideration to sensory sensitivities
  • Facilitate productive play activities to teach and reinforce skills development
  • Teaching and supporting individuals both in the home and in the community with ADLs and IADLs (examples include but are not limited to: transportation, using technology, money management, hygiene tasks, and laundry)
  • Serve as an advocate for individuals and families at various community levels
  • Support individuals and families to participate in social and recreational activities that encourage networking, formation of natural supports and peer support.
  • Coordinate and work collaboratively with other service providers and family as needed to implement treatment planning objectives
  • Job must be conducted at all times in a way that respects the rights, privacy and the dignity of the client and adheres to all contractual regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • A high School Diploma or HiSet is required
  • At least 1 year experience in ABA field strongly preferred
  • BCBA or ABA certification highly preferred
  • Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) preferred
  • Familiarity with concepts related to neurodiversity preferred
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment with community based human service professionals and staff.
  • Flexibility to meet schedule needs of individuals and families
  • Valid Driver's license and proof of automobile insurance is required to transport clients throughout the community.

  • Develop Treatment Plans that are clinically sound and engaging

  • Supervise and Mentor RBTs to support consistent, high-quality care

  • Collaborate with Families to set goals, track progress, and celebrate growth

  • Deliver Evidence-Based Therapy in a supportive, play-focused environment
