In this role, you will design, implement, and deploy production grade data pipelines and GenAI/LLM applications in a cloud environment. Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large datasets and events using distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Pub/Sub), adhering to the highest privacy standards.

Build, deploy, and fine tune LLM based GenAI applications leveraging Google Cloud services (e.g., GKE, Cloud Functions, Vector Search).

Required Qualifications

2+ years' hands-on experience developing and deploying production-grade data pipelines and machine learning models in a cloud environment.

2+ years' experience building applications using Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini), including fine-tuning.

2+ years' experience with Python and distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., PySpark, Kafka, Flink).

The typical pay range for this role is:
$83,430.00 - $222,480.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

We’re looking to hire Staff Software Engineers to join our Platform Product Group. The Platform Product Group’s mission is to build a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform to maximize velocity, efficiency and quality. They build the foundations that can be used by multiple products and teams at Coinbase so that users can have a consistent and high-quality experience.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will balance the role of an individual contributor while also anchoring new projects, leading technical direction and mentoring other engineers on the team. What you’ll be doing:

Architect and develop distributed systems

Provide technical structure to teams and work closely with management and stakeholders to define strategic roadmaps

Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise

Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards

Design and implement foundational infrastructure components used by every engineering team in production (e.g. dynamic configuration, secrets storage, container orchestration, etc)

$218,025—$256,500 USD
