Job Purpose

The North American Quality Assurance Department is looking for a tech-savvy and creative Digital Innovation Associate to support our digital transformation initiatives and help drive innovation within Honda’s North American Quality Business Unit. About the role

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer supports business process through technology solutions. Senior Scheduler

+ Responsible for day-to-day mechanics of schedule development and maintenance

+ Ensure schedules are compliant with industry best practices such as DCMA 14 point assessment and GAO guiding schedule principles

+ Buildout new DCMA-compliant schedules as new task orders and modifications are awarded for additional program scope.

+ Responsible for developing and writing client-facing schedule reports.

• Derive Data Taxonomy from our documented business processes to build the Data Services SOP playbook and hierarchies 

• Develop and maintain documentation, including data glossary, report summaries, process maps, and technical specifications

• Develop a consistent set of models and templates to document requirements

• Support testing and validation of reports to ensure they meet business needs and quality standards

• Dive deep into data to extract important insights

• Help improve data literacy across the organization and help establish standards for making data-informed decisions

What You'll Need  

Required:

• Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics or a related field

• Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher

• Data analysis skills and capabilities with the ability to drive analysis independently

• Strong skills in understanding data governance frameworks and documentation of the existing processes/workflow, data glossary, etc.

• Interest in learning the ins and outs of our business structure and data to be an effective data partner 

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Data Modeling and exposure to Reporting Tools like Power BI is a plus

Summary

This position is within Data Services Team, responsible for data engineering processes supporting Analytics and Reporting solution for Bath & Body Works. This role engaged with a team to architect the design and build data pipelines into our data platforms that meets business requirements and SLA. It will also be supporting data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist Data Engineering team in designing, building, testing and maintenance of data pipelines to support analytics and operational processes.

• Work with Sr. Data engineers to ingest, clean and transform raw data from various sources.

• Support data quality and data integrity initiatives by implementing validation and monitoring steps.

• Collaborate with key parties to understand data requirements and assist in creating data models and ETL workflows.

• Contribute to documentation and sharing of knowledge within the team.

• Help to maintain and monitor the data platforms

Qualifications

Required:

• 1+ years of experience with cloud-based data platform like Snowflake, BigQuery

• 1+ years of scripting experience - Bash, Python, Perl

• Understanding of data warehousing concepts

Nice to Haves:

• 1+ years of experience in supporting software on Linux Platform

• 1+ Years' experience with an ETL Tool like Talend, IBM DataStage, Informatica
