The Senior Sourcing Manager/Sourcing Manager will implement the sourcing strategy for multiple or local commodities in line with the overall company sourcing strategy to constantly increase productivity, optimize external global spend, and reduce costs. In this role you will own fully the execution of complex commodities strategies on R/OPU level and oversee sourcing activities for multiple categories, lead complex negotiations, develop, and implement sourcing strategies. This role will engage with multi category business unit and manage relationships with multiple suppliers and provide strategic input. The incumbent will collaborate with Category Management on developing and implementing multi commodity strategies.

This position offers a base salary typically between $90,000 and $150,000. The position may be eligible for a role specific variable or performance based bonus, relocation and or other compensation elements.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
Spend Management and Consolidation:
+ Collaborates with Category Management and provide input to create and refine global Commodity Strategies.
+ Brings potential innovation to Boehringer Ingelheim and local market intelligence.
+ Actively supports consolidation roadmap implementation by bringing local expertise.
+ Secures that Local needs are covered within Sourcing Strategy.
+ Implements Commodity Strategy on local level for complex commodity following the Target Operating Model (TOM) including, creating and optimizing Sourcing Cards, documenting savings and identifying potential efficiencies.
+ Conducts sourcing activities within the markets as identifying and driving projects across categories within their responsibility to achieve Sourcing-relevant goals like automation, spend consolidation and supplier optimization.
+ Continuously leverages market opportunities and bring strong negotiation skills to add value for the business while maximizing implementation and usage of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Frame Services Agreements (FSAs).
+ Leads initiatives to optimize sourcing processes across multiple commodities, leveraging market opportunities and innovative sourcing tools.
Business Partnering:
+ Promotes and drives the Strategic Sourcing vision and the Value proposition, integrating and aligning priorities with business partners to achieve Sourcing-relevant goals through advanced Sourcing Excellence.
+ Actively engages with Business Partners across various departments to align sourcing activities with broader business objectives and ensure effective communication; setting joint targets, aligning sourcing projects while understanding business strategies and demand forecast to proactively drive improvements.
Supplier and Risk Management:
+ Identifies, evaluates, and manages risks across multiple commodities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and mitigating potential disruptions.
+ Develops and manages relationships with key and complex suppliers including high-spend and multi-commodity negotiations, to drive innovation and cost savings.
+ Conducts Business Review meetings and governance sessions with critical local suppliers focused on market intelligence and innovation, while also identifying, mapping and evaluating sourcing risks.
**Requirements**
Senior Sourcing Manager
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required in Business Administration, Pharmaceuticals or related. Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:

Leads and executes the most difficult and unique purchasing projects. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Researches possible sources/suppliers for requested items, provides alternatives or substitutions when applicable, and assists internal requesters with select requirements. Gathers/reviews requests in various formats including technical drawings or schematics. Investigates potential bidding initiatives to address hard dollar and process savings. Establishes blanket purchase agreements with vendors setting dollar limitations and time of contract limitations.
* Facilitates the competitive bid process for all requisitions in accordance with company policies. POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for executing our Exclusive Brands global strategic sourcing strategies, as well as driving product vision to commercialization. The Sourcing Manager collaborates with our Boot Barn Vendor Partner Community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Vendor Allocation: Strategically allocate development and production orders to optimize capacity, capability, cost-effectiveness, quality, and on-time delivery.

* Vendor Forecast Management: Ensure vendors receive timely and precise visibility into demand to optimize their production, raw material procurement, and capacity allocation.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required. MBA or related Master's Degree preferred.

* Understanding of the Strategic Sourcing processes and demonstrated proficiency with e-tools such as e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e-catalogs, and contract management systems

Who you are:

We are seeking a strategic Sourcing Manager here at X that will report directly to the CFO. This high-impact role will be responsible for driving the company's procurement and sourcing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on cost optimization, contract negotiation, and vendor management. This role is critical in a fast-paced environment, where it'll establish clear and efficient processes to ensure our procurement activities deliver maximum value, reduce expenses, and align with business goals. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate with finance, legal, and various stakeholders in the company to negotiate contracts while driving significant cost savings through spend analysis and market intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and finance operations, and be able to confidently negotiate a wide array of deals and contracts. It will require a sharp and creative mind to find opportunities for better rates, cost savings, and renegotiations, all while maintaining strong relationships with our vendors and external partners.

What you'll do:

* Manage the sourcing function and provide leadership and mentorship to the team by fostering collaboration and developing team capabilities


* Develop and implement sourcing strategies, conduct market research, spend analysis, and cost modeling to identify cost saving opportunities


* Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, including RFx processes, terms, pricing, and compliance, to secure favorable outcomes and mitigate risks


* Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance through KPIs and scorecards, and drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, and service delivery


* Collaborate cross-functionally with various stakeholders to analyze total cost of ownership (TCO), usage patterns, and procurement needs


* Identify and implement process improvements in sourcing workflows


* Devise strategy for longer term impact of sourcing on the company, including identifying tech stack improvements and reducing expenditures


* Lead the assessment of vendors and providers to ensure X is working with strong partners, and getting competitive rates


* Work closely with our legal team on contract terms, privacy and security requirements, and verbiage


* Track and report on key metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency to the CFO and leadership staff on a regular basis



Requirements:

* BS/BA or equivalent in business or related field, MBA and/or professional certification a plus.


* 7-10 years experience in sourcing or procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing teams


* Excellent negotiations skills and ability to optimize for outcomes as well as come up with creative solutions


* Proven track record in negotiating software contracts, including SaaS, cloud, and licensing agreements, in a tech or media environment


* Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated success in achieving cost savings through analysis, benchmarking, and optimization strategies


* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills


* Deep knowledge of the entire procure-to-pay process, including workflows and fiduciary requirements


* Experience deploying and managing procurement systems projects, preferably including supplier catalogs


* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Very detail-oriented. Very organized.


* Hyper focused and organized in project managing


* Excellent PC skills (including Excel, Microsoft Project, Power Point, etc.)
