What you'll do:
TheTroubleshooting Electrician position is responsible for providing electricalsystem support, including complex troubleshooting, facilitating engineeringchanges, testing electrical functions, and more, for the company's variousproduct lines including our specialty utility vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and solve complex electrical problems
• Install new vehicle wiring systems
• Install missing components
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Eliminate any potential defects based on write-ups and self-inspection
• Assist with major reworks and projects
• Document and report electrical defects
• Lead resolution of electrical defects and reworks
• Interact with Electrical Engineering on current manufacturing issues
• Maintain electrical documentation for shop floor applications
• Perform function tests
• Lead quality, cost, and productivity improvement efforts
• Support manufacturing and OEM service
• Learn and retain skills and practices needed to complete duties in assignedarea
• Read and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings,blueprints, etc.
• Perform rework, as needed
• Self-check work and inspect prior processes
• Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools, as required
• Meet production goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Initiate process improvements
• Support 5S in work area
• Communicate with manufacturing and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues

What you need to be successful:
Qualifications:
• 2-3 yearsproven work experience as an Auto Electrician
• Formal schooling and training on automotive electrical systems and electronicspreferred
• Auto electrical qualification certificate preferred
• Able to read blue prints
• 12 volt electrical experience
• Strong and consistent attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task
• Positive attitude and team oriented
• Basic computer skills are required
• Experience using schematics, electrical diagnostic equipment, and applicablecomputer equipment
• Knowledge of basic automotive wiring theory and application
• Cab electrical experience preferred
• Able to:
o Accumulate tools and equipment required to perform assigned tasks

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Position Specific Description
Senior Solar & Storage Remote Troubleshooting Support Technician
Location: Renewable Operations Control Center (ROCC), Palm Beach Gardens, FL
NextEra Energy's Power Generation Division is seeking a Senior Solar & Storage Remote Troubleshooting Support Technician to provide real-time technical support for solar and battery storage sites across the U.S. and Canada from the Renewable Operations Control Center (ROCC).
This role executes critical renewable operations support processes at an advanced level, including troubleshooting offline equipment, supporting field personnel during live events, modifying control parameters, and collaborating with engineering on configuration management. The position ensures control room compliance with regulatory requirements and involves daily execution of procedures, interpretation of trends and drawings, and operation of SCADA systems and asset-specific OEM software. Shifts may include nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
-Remotely restore inverters and storage systems through resets, parameter changes, and approved TMODs.
-Create detailed Maximo work orders with job plans when remote restoration is unsuccessful or not permitted, documenting diagnostics and identifying likely failed components.
-Support live troubleshooting by guiding field technicians via phone and escalating to the fleet team when applicable.
-Collaborate with fleet teams and other support organizations to mitigate fleet-wide issues and establish best-practice troubleshooting methodologies.
Additional Requirements:
-Advanced experience using OEM software such as GE HDM, GE ToolBoxST, PE PowerComms, or SMA Sunny Central.
-Minimum 2 years' field troubleshooting experience on GE or PE inverters with a strong understanding of DC field systems.
Desired Qualifications:
-Strong background with GE or PE technologies.
-FPL/NextEra operations experience.
-Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Maximo, and CEWIS Historian.
Job Overview
Employees in this senior-level role support the Renewable Operations Control Center (ROCC), which serves as the monitoring and operations center of NextEra Energy Resource's wind, photovoltaic (PV) solar, and battery energy storage fleet. This position executes all critical ROCC Operations processes, including, but not limited to, plant Start-Up/Shutdown (Curtailment), Daily Work Management (troubleshooting and outage restoration), and Energy Market Communications.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Under limited supervision:
