As an Industrial Pipefitter employee ? with John Deere in Horicon, WI, you will:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair all factory pipe systems, such as water, gas, oil, and sewer in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork? In addition, you will install, inspect, maintain,?repair, and adjust all types of heating, ventilating, and refrigeration equipment.
Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

Make minor repairs, such as replacing or repairing pulleys, belts, valves and traps on ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
-
Install, maintain, and repair control devices for caustic and oil quench cooling systems, water cooled generators, tractor wash and gasoline withdrawal systems.
-
Install pumps, nozzles, valves, traps, gages, meters, regulators, filters.
-
Regulate and maintain gas mixing inspirator, converting natural gas to BTU requirements.
-
Install pipe for hydraulic systems.
-
Install sprinkling systems and dry box valves and recharge fire extinguishers.
-
Operate and maintain sewage disposal system.
-
Assist and support other team members and work with minimal supervision.
-
Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Work shifts (choice of shift based on seniority).
Minimum Qualifications:?

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have?at least one?of the following:

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)

At?least?3 years?of manufacturing work experience

Journeyperson's card in Pipefitting / HV Maintenance?OR?at least 2 years of industrial pipefitting / HV experience (or equivalent Military experience and training).

As a **Production Welder** with John Deere in Horicon, WI, you will:
Perform weld operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:
+ Weld parts and sub-assemblies to specification using various welding processes.
+ Adjust voltage, heat, pressure, and speed to maintain quality.
+ Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
