CPC Logistics is currently hiring Established Class A CDL Team Truck Drivers for our private fleet assigned to John Deere Shared Services in Davenport, IA. Drivers work Monday thru Friday, home every weekend! Some Sunday departures from time to time. All drop and hook, no touch freight. **Quad Cities Landfill is looking for a safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator for our landfill in Milan, Illinois.**
Our priority is to make sure we hire safe equipment operators that care about the safety of our team and the service provided to our customers. As a heavy equipment operator with us the minimum responsibilities are:
+ Operating heavy equipment such as: bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor grader, scraper, and compactors.
+ Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.
+ Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
+ Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
+ Picking up litter as needed.
+ Other job related duties as assigned.

Looking for experienced hydraulic crane operator/material handler.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Operates mobile crane to lift; move, position and load scrap.
2. Offload material for processing.
3. Loads scrap buckets and visually monitor weight of scrap placed in each bucket when needed.
4. Responsible for scrap inspection as it is being loaded.
5. Manipulates or depresses crane controls such as pedals, levers, to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.
6. Inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
7. Operates mobile equipment as needed.
8. Communicates and directs co-workers through two-way radio and hand signals.
9. Assist maintenance with cleaning on down days.
This position may be responsible for operating other off-road type heavy, mobile equipment as necessary. All work performed in a steel mill environment. Additional duties include but not limited to:
+ Perform and record routine mobile equipment pre-start and post inspections,
+ Complete required activity reports.
+ Follow all policies and rules of the company and the customer
+ Maintain high level of safety, and abide by all safe work requirements.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 1 - 3 year's experience as a heavy equipment operator.
+ Ability to do manual labor in an outdoor environment that may include elevated areas and extreme weather conditions.
+ Good communications skills, and the ability to read operating instructions.
+ Proactive in SAFETY and works well in a team environment.
