**Job Description**
+ Manages and oversees the lifecycle of information technology (IT) assets within an organization through tracking, monitoring, and optimizing the use of IT assets to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency
+ Creates and maintains an accurate inventory of all information technology assets, including hardware and related documentation including configuration details, license agreements, warranties, and maintenance records
+ Coordinates the deployment of assets, ensuring proper configuration, installation, and integration into the existing information technology infrastructure
+ Ensures assets are properly maintained, upgraded, and retired in accordance with organizational policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
+ Analyzes asset utilization and performance to identify opportunities for optimization
+ Monitor depot and deploy vendor's quality of service (shipments, returns and E-Waste)
+ Assist with data analysis to project inventory needs and optimize procurement processes
+ Track devices tagged as legal hold from identification through release phases
+ Execute hardware reclamation processes (employees, contractors and providers)
+ Conduct routine audits to validate inventory records and identify lost/stolen devices
+ Reconcile and reclaim licenses to reduce expense
+ Generate reports for KPIs, scorecards and dashboards for operational and compliance insights
+ Liaise with various groups (facilities, recruiting, HR, onboarding, Service Desk, etc.)

As we continue to expand our portfolio of renewable energy projects, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Sr** **Associate, Asset Management** to join our dynamic team.
RWE Clean Energy's Asset Management team takes accountability for the commercial success of a >10 GW portfolio of renewable energy assets. Through the close collaboration with Operations & Maintenance and various Financial stakeholders the team drives tactical and strategic initiatives optimizing the performance of all assets.
**Role Responsibilities:**
+ The Sr Associatewill assist the Asset Manager in driving the profitability of wind, solar, and battery storage assets, by analyzing operational and financial performance and identifying the causes for underperformance. The Associate will also support the development, implementation, and management of production enhancement or cost savings initiatives resulting from the performance analysis
+ Asset Performance Optimization: Monitor asset performance, investigate underperformance, and develop and implement strategies to maximize the operational performance of renewable energy assets; manage technical issues to ensure strategies are fully analyzed, and appropriate solutions developed and implemented
+ Financial Management: Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of individual assets; Drive long-term profitability and risk minimization
+ Contract Management: Oversee contracts with suppliers, service providers, and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives
+ Risk Management: Identify and assess risks related to asset performance, market conditions, and regulatory changes
+ Monthly Reporting: Review monthly operating reports; support in the presentation of monthly availability and financial analysis for internal stakeholders
+ Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant regulations and ensure that all renewable energy projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental permits
+ Entrepreneurial Mindset: Assist in developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans by studying market conditions and internal operational needs, identify technological and commercial opportunities; present assumptions and recommend objectives and execution of strategies necessary to achieve agreed performance targets
+ Process Improvements: Implement and continuously improve local asset management systems and processes consistent with organizational policies and standards
+ Cross Functional Collaboration: Coordinate planning and execution efforts with all stakeholder departments by establishing strong, collaborative relationships with support departments that provide essential skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to effectively and profitably deliver cost savings and achieve goals, such as HSE, Procurement, Controlling, Insurance, Engineering, and Operations teams
**Job Requirements and Experiences:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field or 2 additional years of comparable work experience. Master's degree or professional certification is a plus
+ Minimum 3 years proven experience in the renewable energy sector
+ Asset Management, Operations, or Controlling experience is highly desirable
+ Experience in asset management and/or technical expertise in the renewable energy industry
+ Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
+ Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to translate technical findings into commercial implications
+ Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements (esp. ERCOT)
+ Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
+ Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage internal/external relationships
+ Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams
+ Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
+ Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
+ Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
+ Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
+ Detail-oriented and has a sound understanding of business concepts

**Pay range:** The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $90,000 - $135,000. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
