The Launch and Missile Defense Systems division within Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an exciting career opportunity for a DevOps Engineer/Principal DevOps Engineer. **Position Overview:**
The DevOps Engineer plans and evolves processes and infrastructure to execute programs which support rapid maturation and deployment of capability while sustaining a stable security posture and configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery of both internally developed and externally purchased commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products. Integrates development pipelines leveraging automation with test-driven development tools. Designs, develops, automates, and maintains productivity tools using programming, database or scripting languages to improve software modeling and development.
Designs and implements build procedures that are used to support software product development and use. Functions with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback. Ensures implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. May develop software configuration standards for company-wide use. May train software developers in the use of configuration management tools and the implementation of software quality standards.

**Basic Qualifications for DevOps Engineer or Principal DevOps Engineer:**
+ DevOps Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 2 years of related experience or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of experience, or 6 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
+ Principal DevOps Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years experience, or a PhD and 0 years of experience, or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $34,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: 110,300.00 - 165,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. You will be part of a DevOps team responsible for deploying and operating core services. These are for Gateway Platform/Services, Marketplace/Integration, Whiteboard, Zoom Docs, Zoom Apps applications and products. Zoom Apps bring best of breed applications into the Zoom experience for seamless productivity and an engaging experience .
Responsibilities
+ Designing, deploying, monitoring and scaling Zoom Platform services
+ Improving the whole lifecycle of Zoom Platform services from planning to go live strategy
+ Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues
+ Building a resilient and scalable service infrastructure to accommodate region based data centers
