Job Description

Salespeople will be responsible for sourcing new deals for several different lines of business, including commercial real estate loan and financial consulting. Salespeople will target commercial real estate owners, sales brokers and mortgage brokers to expand firm’s network and reach. Extensive emailing and phone calling is required, in addition to face-to-face meetings. First year commissions should be $5,000- 100,000.

MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive our expansion into Ford Motor Company's component supply chain. If you're currently selling functional plastic components into Ford Motor Company and have a strong network within their engineering, purchasing, or program management teams-this role is built for you.

Essential Duties:

* Serve as the point person to introduce and champion MMI's engineered plastic components into Ford Motor Company programs.
* Leverage your deep contacts and knowledge of Ford's systems to identify opportunities and influence supplier selection decisions.
* Navigate the organization through Ford's Q1 certification and Job 1 milestones.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and program management to support quoting, proposals, and program execution.
* Attend customer meetings, plant visits, and industry events to build lasting relationships and identify trends.
* Represent MMI's value proposition of innovative design, precision molding, and value-added assembly.

Qualifications:

* A minimum of 3-5 years in B2B technical sales, ideally with an engineering or plastics background.
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
* Current or very recent experience selling functional plastic components to Ford Motor Company.
* A robust network of contacts within Ford (engineering, purchasing, and/or advanced product development).
* Proven track record of winning new business and driving RFQ activity into awarded programs.
* Familiarity with Ford's supplier systems, expectations, and launch protocols.
