**What will you do?**
+ Control the various entry/exit locations throughout the DNPS controlled areas.
+ Operate a walk-through metal detector, handheld metal detector and conduct hand searches of carry bags.
+ Only allow authorized guests / crew-members through the control points and direct them to appropriate locations.
+ Control pedestrian and vehicle traffic /check decals as needed.
+ Report all violations to the Security Supervisor or Security Management immediately.
+ Operate company vehicle at the Visitor Complex property or operations.
+ Foot patrol of all areas of the Visitor Complex property or operations.
+ Respond to any incidents as needed, complete an investigation, collect witness statements, and follow up with a written report.
**More about you**
+ A current Florida Security D license required.
+ Qualify for and receive a One NASA PIV Badge within 90 days of employment.
+ Pass a background and security investigation, including a criminal records check.
+ Possess a valid State of Florida Motor Vehicle Driver's License (Class E or higher).
+ Maintain a driving record acceptable by company motor vehicle insurance carrier standards.
+ Demonstrates skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to control difficult situations and maintain customer goodwill.
+ Ability to work in fast-paced environment and available to work weekends, holidays, and special events.
+ Have a general knowledge of two-way radio usage and associated codes.
+ Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms generated by screening equipment in an active checkpoint environment.
+ Be able efficiently and thoroughly to manipulate and handle baggage, containers, and other objects subject to security processing.
+ Have sufficient dexterity and capability to thoroughly conduct hand-held metal detector and pat down search procedures over an individual's entire body.
**Physical requirements**
+ Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
+ Must be able to drag 150 lbs. at least 50 feet.
+ Must be able to walk to/from post and respond to call for service on foot in various outdoor climates.
+ Must be able to pass a pre-employment and/or periodic physical examination confirming the ability to complete the essential functions of the job with/without reasonable accommodation.

**What will you do?**
+ Perform arange of installation, preventive, and repair maintenance, including inspections and cleaning.
+ Complete a range of electrical, mechanical, and electronic checks, repairs, and installations.
+ Replace and paint floors, ceilings, ceiling tiles, doors, drywall, and similar items.
+ Secure loose molding, base, trim and check proper mechanical operation of doors and similar units.
+ Select premixed paints or color matches,and mix required portions of pigmentand oil.
+ Smooth surfaces, remove old paint, and protect surfaces during painting.
+ Drive a company vehicle around the property to work areas.

+ Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
+ High school diploma or GED, completion of apprenticeship or technical school is preferred.
+ Minimum of 5years of verifiable professional paint experience.
+ Familiar with computerized maintenance management system to enter working hours and notes.
+ Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a NASA badge.
**Physical requirements**

As a General Plant HVAC Technician, you will perform, installations, maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment.
