Location: Rochester, NY – LEE RD.

Salary Range: $20 - $25/hour


Summary/Objective:
Responsible for ensuring proper components have been brought to the cell and are being assembled as instructed.


Essential Functions:

  • Completes all start-up and during run checks of any items listed on the Bill of Materials. This includes ancillary items like glue, tape, and labels.
  • Ensures work instructions are understood and executed by production lines.
  • Verifies suitability of pack out to ensure safe delivery of products in good condition. This includes examining/testing a first piece sample for damage after:
    1. Drop test- if item is shipping in a parcel environment.
    2. Stack strength test- if item is stacking on a pallet for truckload transit.
  • Jointly responsible, with Quality, for the accuracy of the finished product.
  • Tracks hourly production rates and keeps accurate counts of units produced.
  • Tracks and reports crew size on an hourly basis
  • Monitors activity of crew members assigned to their respective production line. This includes ensuring assembly steps are executed according to work instructions, managing break and lunch times, and reporting any personnel issues to Management.
  • Responsible for maintaining production cell cleanliness and organization throughout the duration of the production run.
  • Responsible for production cell break down after job is completed.
    1. Organizes “overs” at the end of job to ensure proper disposition.
    2. Facilitates proper put away of label dispensers, tape machines, staplers, box cutters and any other tools used during production.

  • Two (2) years of work experience or an equivalent of four (4) years in the industry

The Order Fulfillment Agent is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing finished goods for dispensary orders in compliance with company standards and state regulations. This includes retrieving products from vault storage, verifying batch and compliance labels, matching unit counts to manifests, and staging orders for delivery. About the Position

We are looking for a highly motivated Order Fulfillment Specialist. The ideal candidate must be tech-savvy and will support the company by fulfilling orders and managing inventory in a timely and professional manner. This individual will be trained on multiple responsibilities. As our business needs change, they will be flexible, shifting their time between job responsibilities/functions.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of ecommerce product flow: receiving, picking, packing and shipping of product

  • Communicate with our customer support team and assist in the support requests related to returns and exchanges.

  • Maintain a complete understanding of current software systems used to pick, pack and ship

  • Fulfill customer orders from store inventory in a timely manner following quality standards, with a high fulfillment percent and sense of urgency

  • Prepare and ship customer's orders following quality, packing and shipping standards

  • Meet and/or exceed shipping and delivery expectations

  • Supply inventories, and assist with discrepancies and correction

  • Ensure shipping materials/warehouse supplies are stocked and available

  • Support and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a high volume e-commerce fulfillment role a PLUS
  • STRONG sense of urgency and understanding of the importance of this role
  • Must possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, think on your feet and be work around issues that may arise
  • Capable of working independently and efficiently
  • Able to manage time effectively to optimize productivity.
  • Stellar work ethic and attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Computer skills in a MAC based environment
  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time. (Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs)
  • Must be passionate about your work, and take pride in everything you do
