What will your typical day look like?

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uses the Sales Order Schedule Board to properly manage flow of outgoing shipments.

• Picks required components for Sales Orders according to pick list from Order Fulfillment locations.

• Builds and posts deliveries within data collection system by scanning Sales Order and individual labels on items picked for packages.

• Packs all items on Sales Orders pick list using correct box size and packaging material - refer to work instructions.

• Clearly identifies and segregates 'priority' shipments.

• Identifies need for items to be built/ordered from pick list and provides copies of pick list to required individuals.

• Manages pick lists with items on order or being built with proper documentation.

• Assembles partially filled orders on PFO carts. Manages PFO carts to ensure orders are prepared for delivery when completely filled.

• Provides weights and dimensions of boxes to international shipper when requested.

• Monitors the Order Fulfillment bins to ensure they are full. Bags and tags necessary parts to fill bins, and requests production orders when necessary to obtain stock of required items. Conducts cycle count inventories as needed.

• Completes all necessary inventory transfers (EX: from upper locations to bins, to and from PFO carts, to and from SHIP bin) in order to maintain integrity of inventory.

• Assists in packaging turbos and/or parts using foam machine when needed.

• Assists in packaging of large pallet shipments when needed.

• Reviews OFST location daily to transfer items to their home location both physically and systemically. Reviews items in OFST with Shipping Lead to identify whether they are committed to open orders.

• Organizes personal schedule to maximize productivity and time management.

• Follows all Company personnel policies and process procedures.

• Maintains friendly, cooperative communications with customers, company personnel and management.

• Ensures that all internal company communications, financial information, pricing information, plans and strategies are kept confidential.

JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Responsible for ensuring production lines are provided with raw materials in a timely manner, while ensuring any material left over from previous production is returned to its residing location.
2. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, placing materials and supplies in stock, and recording location of inventory.
3. Follows and maintains established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and continuous quality improvement objectives.
4. Monitors product serial codes are scanned properly to reflect accurate inventory movements to the lines. 5. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production work order.
6. Maintains in-process inventory within the warehouse by stocking as needed.
7. Responsible for completing cycle counts assigned and via physical inventory module in WMS.
8. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
9. May operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate strapping and wrapping machines.
10. Performs all other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
11. May be called upon to assist in supporting Order Fulfillment.

What We Are Looking For

Job Summary

Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment. Omni Experience Ambassador will be working within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay and Ship from Club.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

• Processes member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list. Utilizes a handheld scanner device (RF) device to pick orders from the sales floor. Uses handheld scanner device (RF) to verify merchandise. Moves merchandise from sales floor to staging area.

• Communicates problems with inventory and/or equipment and communicates expired or short-dated items included on pick list.

• Communicates with club team when merchandise needs to be replenished.

• Works with team to have merchandise pulled from reserve area, when possible, to avoid sales floor replenishment.

• Ensures all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet all productivity requirements.

• Works with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines are met up to and including key performance indicators based on individual performance.

• Follows operational efficiencies, processes and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside and Ship from Club.

• Takes responsibility for individual performance and works with club leadership on individual performance when metrics are not met.

• Securely packages the order in accordance with standard operating procedures.

• Ensures the SFC area is neat, clean, and organized. Performs general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area. Handles damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.

• Processes returns to the club and makes determination on how to handle (via DDR or Membership desk)

• Maintains all club policies and procedures. Including adhering to proper dress code standards.

• Required to meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLA”s), performance metrics and goals.

Qualifications

• Previous order pulling experience preferred.

• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.

• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Job Conditions

• Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.

• Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds. May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.

• Usually in a comfortable environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment. There may be exposure to temperature extremes at time to pull refrigerated orders.

• There may be occasional exposure to Company-approved cleaning agents.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $16.50-$19.80.
