What You Will Do:
The Part-Time Kitchen Assistant works on the Kitchen Team to support cooks in prepping and serving cafeteria-style food to youth and adults at our campus in the Marin Headlands. This primarily is a dishwashing and custodial position. Other duties related to food preparation and service as assigned.
This Part-Time position takes place at Golden Gate National Recreation Area, and cannot be performed remotely. Shifts can be flexible, but weekend work is required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots and pans.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room cabinets.
- Keep all refrigerators clean with dates and labels on all items.
- Maintain and clean the Kitchen and Equipment.
- Receive and stock deliveries of food and supplies.
- Help to set up the buffet.
- Help cooks in the preparation of meals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Compensation:
- $18-20/hour
