**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Opens and closes the store following department procedures.
+ Counts cash register at beginning and end of day, completes cash handling reports and bank deposits.
+ Processes and handles payments for merchandise via Point Of Sale Cash Register.
+ Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering the telephone, taking phone orders, giving directions, handling complaints and requests and assisting the customer with the appropriate selection of merchandise.
+ Maintains terminal and work area by dusting, sweeping and light cleaning.
+ Stocks, organizes, and displays merchandise per managers direction.
+ Accurately completes required receiving paperwork as needed. Performs related responsibilities as required.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ A high school diploma or equivalent.
+ At least two years of prior retail sales experience, including using a POS cash register, opening and closing stores, making end of day deposits, merchandising product and following a planogram/floor layout.
+ Must be able to stand for 4-6 hours consecutively, lift up to 30 lbs of product, bend, stoop, reach and grasp.
+ Must be able to work a flexible shift, including days, nights and weekends.
+ Must be comfortable working independently with limited supervision and making decisions based on store policies and procedures.
