What you will do
The Associate Manager, Insights & Analytics, Kroger is responsible for building, developing, and shaping category growth plans based on key data, shopper and category insights and trends. This individual should have strong analytical skills, collaboration, project leadership, and have the ability to pull together strategic recommendations from insights and data. This person should be able to operate in a high-level, fast-paced, complex, and changing business environment.
Key Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for supporting our business through the following-
- Actively uncover business opportunities with deep-dive analytics using various resources including, but not limited to- Retailer POS data, Syndicated Data (Nielsen/Circana), Marketplace and HH Panel Assessments to independently discern trends and provide insights-based recommendations to deliver sales objectives.
- Integrate Omni-channel initiatives into analysis of business results. Uncover transformational Omni Category insights and solutions for our customers / shoppers / consumers that deliver on critical metrics for instore and online.
- Lead category presentations at assigned customers.
- Develop assortment optimization recommendations for online and in-store by providing shopper, category, brand and/or customer insights.
- Collaborate with Customer Development Managers to evolve promotional plans, evaluate the impact of pricing and track competitive activity to unlock internal and external growth opportunities.
- Build customer relationships and serve as a trusted category partner, providing support during POG Line review process.
