What you will do

The Associate Manager, Insights & Analytics, Kroger is responsible for building, developing, and shaping category growth plans based on key data, shopper and category insights and trends. This individual should have strong analytical skills, collaboration, project leadership, and have the ability to pull together strategic recommendations from insights and data. This person should be able to operate in a high-level, fast-paced, complex, and changing business environment.

Key Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for supporting our business through the following-

  • Actively uncover business opportunities with deep-dive analytics using various resources including, but not limited to- Retailer POS data, Syndicated Data (Nielsen/Circana), Marketplace and HH Panel Assessments to independently discern trends and provide insights-based recommendations to deliver sales objectives.
  • Integrate Omni-channel initiatives into analysis of business results. Uncover transformational Omni Category insights and solutions for our customers / shoppers / consumers that deliver on critical metrics for instore and online.
  • Lead category presentations at assigned customers.
  • Develop assortment optimization recommendations for online and in-store by providing shopper, category, brand and/or customer insights.
  • Collaborate with Customer Development Managers to evolve promotional plans, evaluate the impact of pricing and track competitive activity to unlock internal and external growth opportunities.
  • Build customer relationships and serve as a trusted category partner, providing support during POG Line review process.
  • Work with internal partners to provide voice of customer to craft our go to market initiatives and to provide an understanding of the external marketplace.
  • Find opportunities to deliver on strategic seasonal priorities for the business. Develop, utilize, and share best practices to improve functional efficiency and accuracy of findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure that data is organized, reported and error-free when devising data sets through careful review and refinement prior to running analytical tests. Align with company policy and procedures at all times.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
  • 4-6 years prior experience in customer sales, category insights/management, analytics, shopper marketing/insights, or related field in a consumer products environment is required
  • Ability to assess, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from sales and customer data
  • Ability to craft impactful presentations to explain recommendations and findings of analyses, resources, and studies are required
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with JDA or other space planning software
  • Prior experience with syndicated data, such as Nielsen or Circana
  • Experience using Kroger data tools and systems is preferred (Stratum/ 84.51)
  • Prior Health and Beauty Care (HBC) category experience is preferred

What's in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$110,500.00 - $156,000.00

  • Drivers on this semi local job will operate in 4 states
  • Customer will unload, no touch freight to the driver
  • Work schedule: 5 days on 2 days off 10 to 12 hours work day on average .NIGHT SHIFT
  • Driver can work a 6th day if desired. Driver receives an additional $85 on top of their daily rate for
    working a 6th day.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Clean driving record
  • DOT Medical card
  • 3 months experience minimum
  • ***Slip seating is required
  • Truck must be left at the account for time off.
  • *** Driver will be required to chain in inclement weather
