Your key responsibilities

  • Create and manage test plans
  • Propose and describe new test for new features or to improve test efficiency.
  • Work close to other teams on requirements, specification, architecture, design, test.
  • Propose and describe new test for new features or to improve test efficiency.
  • Prepare product samples and test setups, execute the product design, verification and validation test plan according to internal procedures or relevant standards that ensure the quality and the functionality of the target products.
  • Comply with the project test plan for definition and execution mainly include electrical, thermal, environment, mechanical, certification, HALT, safety and EMC function.
  • Create and document test reports and summary for performed tests. Monitor and report progress on test plans and cases and present to interested stakeholders.
  • Support the laboratory management when assigned (equipment and asset management, following external services execution, equipment calibration, acquiring test equipment or other essentials needed for the lab and office operation).


You need the following qualifications and experience for this role
  • Understanding of electrical engineering, test equipment
  • Understanding of electrical safety
  • Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum or power analyzers, electronic loads signal generators, data loggers and similar
  • EMI/EMC, safety and certification test knowledge is an advantage.
  • Test / lab Management Tools.
EDUCATION
  • You have a Bachelor Degree of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a technician (experienced) degree and you are fluent in English.

SKILLS

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration
  • Capability to grow in a multicultural environment is key
  • Proficiency in English
  • Structured and organized way of work

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience from domain of power conversion is a plus

Manufacturing Systems Engineering under Kuiper Production Operations is responsible for delivering test software, hardware, and frameworks that improve the speed and quality of satellite component testing. We are seeking a Test Lab Operations Automation Engineer to implement and integrate automated testing solutions in Kuiper Labs and Manufacturing environment. This role serves as a bridge between MSE developers, testing, and operations teams, focusing on deploying automation tools, configuring test equipment, and maintaining automated testing infrastructure to streamline laboratory operations. In this role you will work across the org with many software and hardware teams for the implementation of automation solutions, prioritizing critical efforts and providing updates to senior management and stakeholders.

• 2+ years experience in project management skills including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects.
• Strong experience with NI TestStand and LabVIEW
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or similar)
• Experience with automated test equipment and instrumentation
• Knowledge of communication protocols
• Understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking protocols
• Experience with database management and testing frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Highly organized and autonomous, very detail oriented and willing to learn new skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams

The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has an opening for a RedHat Enterprise Linux Engineer to work in our Orlando, Florida office.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ The Test team within the Digital Infrastructure Network Integration Lab (DI-NIL) will be responsible for maintaining the DI-NIL architecture and services. There are levels of support needed throughout to include RHEL layout and configuration to include structure and compliance configurations, integration with Active Directory for authentication, as well as day-to-day management and review of the architecture.
+ The DI-NIL support effort will also include working with customers to ensure the needed environment is configured properly and access has been configured to allow a least privilege concept during stakeholder activities within the environment.
+ Full documentation of builds and configurations utilized within the environment are mandatory as well as process flow documentation to ensure all required tasks are documented and repeatable.
**High level tasking for this team will include the following:**
+ Build and configure the RHEL architecture to support access and authentication within the DI-NIL environment
+ Configure Windows based authentication to work with RedHat Linux and other systems within the environment for utilizing AD for authentication
+ Manage day-to-day operations of the RHEL architecture as well as review logs for potential issues
+ Report and record all issues within the approved ticketing system to allow for bug/defect management and correction
+ Work with stakeholders to understand access and authentication requirements for test environments being built within the DI-NIL space
+ Work with other team members to ensure all IA compliance actions are completed on time and are reported correctly
+ Interface with vendors and facilitate integration into a larger system-of-systems model
+ Identify test methodology to verify and validate systems efficiently to include regression testing, pass/fail, and deficiency remediation
+ Facilitate working groups and information exchange in support of program objectives
+ Support the development and maintenance of system integration plans and system test plans
+ Build and support a culture grounded in the Leidos values, beliefs and expectations and highest standards of ethical and respectful behavior
**Basic Qualifications**
+ Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
+ Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master's degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience or demonstratable years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert
+ Demonstrable knowledge of Unix system concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programs
+ Demonstrable experience in design review participation and providing customer centric input
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.
+ Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.
+ Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
+ Demonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence)
+ Mid-level network understanding
+ Mid-level understanding of government systems security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation - ability to discuss security issues and concerns
+ Demonstrated ability to brief technical and non-technical customers
+ Ability to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction and maintain Leidos positive brand recognition
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Prior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiatives
