+ Execute PCE requests, protocols, engineering studies, and validation studies.
+ Coordinate documentation through the laboratory and ensure accuracy while consulting with other laboratory staff.
+ Lead or participate in multi-functional teams to identify and resolve product testing issues.
+ Ensure that all instrumentation and equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
+ Manage laboratory documentation and develop lab operating procedures to ensure effective lab operations.
**What's Needed?**
+ BA Degree in Science
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience: Experience as a laboratory technician/professional requiring the operation and maintenance of instruments (minimum 6 years).
+ Experience in project testing coordination (minimum 2 years).
+ Experience working within a regulated environment (minimum 3 years preferred).
+ Experience developing testing methodologies and conducting testing on pharmaceutical container systems (minimum 1 year).

1. Performs diversified technical and laboratory duties as described for a medical technologist as assigned.
2. Organizes necessary quality control programs.

2. Three years of clinical laboratory experience in areas pertinent to the specific position requirements.

WORKING CONDITIONS
1. Exposure to infectious disease and to possible carcinogenic chemicals.
2. Minimal exposure to caustic agents, acids, and fumes.
3. Occasional prolonged standing and walking.

S. Military laboratory training courses of at least 50 weeks) OR
Education that has been evaluated by an acceptable credentialing agency and deemed equivalent to a US Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
Experience:
No experience required for graduates of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by NAACLS, or other organizations approved by HHS. OR
One year of approved clinical laboratory experience, which must include a clinical rotation through the following sections of the laboratory: Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U. S. or with an accredited laboratory within the last 5 years.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
Must possess Certification for MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS
If certification with an expiration date is held, the certification must be maintained and kept current

Performs a wide range of technical skills, which are utilized during a variety of Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. The Technologist is proficient in all aspects of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration. Qualifications
**The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:**
· Associates degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Radiologic Technology or Respiratory Therapy
· Coronary intervention procedure experience (minimum 500 hours in dedicated cardiac interventional laboratories at a hospital with a Level II (on-site surgery)
· Experience in complex cardiac intervention procedures

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

· Performs effectively in two of the three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory team based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals Scope of Practice. Takes call as rotated/assigned and responds (in hospital) per policy.
· Proficiently performs diagnostic coronary procedures, diagnostic electrophysiology procedures, interventional radiology procedures, peripheral diagnostic and/or interventional procedures.

o Diploma or Certificate: Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Radiology, Paramedic, or Respiratory Therapy
o BLS
o ACLS
