The Maintenance Lead Technician is responsible for all aspects of facilities and operational equipment maintenance to include conveyors, plumbing, forklifts, compressor, stretch wrap machines, dock doors, etc.
**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facility Maintenance Lead to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of our utility systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical knowledge and experience in managing various utility services, including electric, water, and steam.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage and maintain all conveyor systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
+ Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to build and implement improvements in distributed control systems.
+ Inspect, diagnose and repair complex electrical /power distribution issues.
+ Perform heavy lifting as required for equipment installation or maintenance tasks.
+ Troubleshoot issues related to logic controllers and other automated systems within the utility framework.
**Experience**
+ Proven experience as an electrical maintenance lead or similar position is preferred.
+ Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintaining utility systems.
+ Previous exposure to distributed control systems and logic controllers
+ Technical school certificate and 5+ years related experience; or
+ High School Diploma or GED, and 5+ years related experience, required.
+ 5+ years supervisory experience.
+ Hands on trade experience, welding, PLC, electrical wiring, mechanical, and demonstrated problem solving skills preferred.
**Knowledge and Skills:**
+ Must have knowledge of current trade related regulations and practices.
+ Must be able to operate MHE equipment.
+ Must have basic knowledge of electrical controls and use of electrical multi-meter devices.
+ Must be able to logically organize tasking.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
+ Must have analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
+ Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
+ Must be able to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
**Education:**
+ Technical school certificate, and 5+ years related experience;
+ High School Diploma or GED, and 5+ years related experience, required.
+ 5+ years progressive leadership experience.
+ Proven trade experience, welding, PLC, electrical wiring, mechanical, and demonstrated problem solving skills preferred.

**Compensation Information:**

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct a team of aircraft maintenance technicians in performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various aircraft types.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with FAA regulations, company policies, and manufacturer's specifications.
- Perform complex troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of aircraft mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Inspect aircraft and components to identify defects or necessary repairs.
- Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance performed.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Manage the availability of parts and tools required for maintenance operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.
- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or a related field is preferred.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in aircraft line and heavy maintenance.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of various aircraft systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aviation safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
