We are currently recruiting for a Senior Learning Analyst to join one of Sacramento's leading institutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable organization that serves as a cornerstone of the region's corporate community. The position is a six-month contract, with the possibility of permanent hire for well-qualified candidates. The Senior Learning Analyst plays a pivotal role in advancing the organization objectives by analyzing data across Leadership and Enterprise Development programs, generating insightful reports, and recommending strategic improvements. This role is also responsible for managing analytics frameworks and collaborating across departments to enhance the effectiveness of training platforms and drive measurable program outcomes.
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in data science and analytics. Technical proficiency in Power BI, SQL Server, and demonstrated ability to automate workflows and integrations is required. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Dayforce is preferred.
Pay to $40.00/hour.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide subject matter expertise across the employee lifecycle, leveraging reporting and data science to deliver cutting-edge insights and support strategic innovation.
- Continuously enhance existing analytics products to align with business and talent strategy priorities; drive scalable, data-informed solutions.
- Partner with organization leadership on budgeting, performance analysis, and external learning initiatives; present findings and influence decisions through monthly reporting.
- Generate reports from diverse applications and sources to deliver actionable insights; conduct ongoing program analysis using scores, evaluations, and stakeholder feedback.
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards and program-level reports; manage LMS administration and assess reporting processes for improvement and effectiveness.
- Develop user procedures and provide training on reporting tools; uphold regulatory knowledge in BSA and AML laws; demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of five years in data science and analytics roles.
- Skilled in Power BI, SQL Server, APIs, Zapier, and SFTP protocols; proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiar with Learning Management Systems such as Dayforce; comfortable with training metrics linked to business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a data analytics role that focuses on human behavior and presenting to non-technical audiences, preferably within an online education environment.
- 2+ years experience in using SQL or Python for data querying and cleaning in a Databricks, Snowflake or similar environment
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, or similar).
- 2+ years experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), preferably with LMS data integration.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field that focuses on data analytics to understand human behavior.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of challenges aimed at all parts of the MLOps cycle. Expect to help the team test out the latest science to assess its utility, explore avenues for boosting detectability, and develop approaches for improving overall observability and explainability of existing models. · Experience in AI / ML model assessment, testing, or validation

**Job Description**
+ Independently performs advanced quantitative analyses and model development to drive decision-making by running quantitative strategies. Makes recommendations based on analyses.
+ Analyzes and develops new model frameworks by supporting the line of business. Refines, monitors, and reviews existing models. Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review. Works with larger, more complex datasets to create models.
+ Performs quantitative analysis and develops complex reports. Performs qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity. Analyzes complex data and associated quantitative analysis. Makes recommendations based on findings from data analytics.
+ Uses quantitative tools and techniques to measure and analyze model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model.
+ Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance, using applicable templates.
