POSITION SUMMARY: The Learning and Development (L&D) Team at Milliman Global Corporate Services (GCS) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator. This role will be responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of our LMS (Absorb), while overseeing the coordination of learning programs in conjunction with the L&D Coordinator and managing contractual relationships with L&D vendors. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless learning operations and contribute to the ongoing development of our workforce.
ResponsibilitiesLMS Administration:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the LMS, including systems configuration, data flow and integration with other company systems, curricula, catalogs, learner assignments, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Act as the primary liaison with the LMS vendor (Absorb) to plan for product releases and system enhancements, as well as identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage other technologies used in the communication and delivery of interactive programming, to include SharePoint, Teams, Zoom, and other virtual learning platforms, as well as course development software such as Canva, Articulate360, and more.
- Manage access and permissions. Establish and maintain governance protocols for LMS management and use by power users/admins throughout Milliman.
- Act swiftly to manage system challenges or unexpected issues with internal clients.
- Consult with practices for learning or compliance learning paths.
- Provide technical support and training for LMS users and administrators as needed.
Program Coordination:
- In partnership with L&D team, maintain learning calendar.
- Collaborate with L&D Coordinator to schedule, administer, and track learning sessions, courses, and programs.
- Coordinate with Events and Internal Communications teams for the communication and execution of core learning programs and L&D portions of company forums and meetings.
- Monitor attendance/completion, feedback, and contribute to evaluation of learning effectiveness.
Vendor & Invoice Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for L&D vendors
- Track department expenses, process and track invoices, ensuring timely payment and budget adherence.
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule training sessions and ensure delivery meets company standards.
General L&D Support:
- Manage L&D processes and policies, ensuring they are kept up to date.
- Maintain all SOPs and instructions related to the LMS.
- Manage the L&D inbox, in partnership with the L&D coordinator and other team members.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors Degree in a related field.
- The ideal candidate must have minimum of 3 years of LMS management experience (Absorb or similar platform) in a complex corporate structure.
- The ideal candidate must have previous experience creating training dashboards and tracking metrics.
- The ideal candidate must have expert proficiency in MS Office 365.
- Must have demonstrated ability to engage with end-users and stakeholders with patience, professionalism, and curiosity.
- Must possess superior organization and communication skills.

CompensationThe overall salary range for this role is $54,900 - $02,120. For candidates residing in:
- Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is 60,390 - 93,610
- New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is 65,880 - 102,120
- All other locations the salary range is 54,900 - 85,100.

Duties include administering the system(s) to ensure the analytics, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, implementation, documentation, maintenance, and integration of other systems. This position works closely with the Advisory team, other systems team members, business analysts, vendors, and key users to identify, evaluate, and implement new functionalities.
This is a full-time volunteer/support position and a member of the Information & Digital Technologies team reporting to the Systems Manager.
Position Responsibilities
- Create and maintain fields, views, reports, dashboards, and other application functions
- Research system issues and lead problem-solving initiatives
- Assist with use/test case development and collaborate to test & accept new functionality
- Serve as the point of contact for determining & prioritizing change requests and customizations
- Set up and manage end-users, profile roles, and other administrative tasks
- Document configurations, data models, and core processes
- Create and maintain new workflows, functions, and configurations
- Develop requirements for system integrations and enhancements
- Train end-users in standard functionality and provide training for new processes
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
