The Learning Specialist is responsible for the delivery of learning activities focused on standard new hire training and other training activities. This may include sales, management and professional development for our employees. This role has an impact on our global training programs, new hire performance, customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development.
The salary range for this position is starting at $55,000.
**What You'll Do:**

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. Located in **Newfoundland, PA** the Learning Specialist schedules and delivers training and development to Devereux employees using a variety of instructional strategies and activities suited for adult learners. The Learning Specialist will coordinate, facilitate, monitor, evaluate, and record training activities as well as assist to create and develop training materials.

**Qualifications**
**Education:** Bachelor's Degree in development, education, training, or related field preferred. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
**Experience:** Minimum of 1 years' experience working within a behavioral healthcare setting. At least 1 year of experience conducting staff training and development, preferably in health care or social services setting. Instructor's certification in First Aid, CPR, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention preferred. Experience with learning management systems and data collection/analyzing platforms (Absorb, MyAvatar, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position) preferred.
