Summary:
Credit part-time, adjunct faculty teaching positions in the Paralegal, Legal Studies and Business Law programs and curriculum.Opportunities may be available at the Bethlehem, PA campus, Pocono campus located in Tannersville, PA and/or online as a blended or asynchronous modality.
Candidates must be competent to teach in at least one of the following subject areas: Estates and Trusts, Family Law, Tort Law, Litigation, Business Organizations, Criminal Law, Contracts, Legal Research, Legal Computer Technology, Legal Writing and Real Estate Law for Paralegal and Legal Studies majors and Business Law I and II for both Business and Legal Studies majors. In addition to teaching, the instructor will perform course and program assessments, and maintain records as required by NCC. Instructors who will teach online must complete training to use the learning management system.
Qualifications:
A Juris Doctorate degree with a license to practice law or a Masters' degree in a legal field with experience as a paralegal.Local experience in the practice of law preferred.Teaching experience a plus.
Special Instructions:
The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department and the College. Please understand that there may not presently be an adjunct position available at the time of your application. When an opening becomes available, the hiring manager will look to this pool of candidates for consideration. If hired, official transcripts will be required from all undergraduate and graduate universities attended before a contract is issued.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide student-focused individualized assistance, coordinate mentoring, provide academic support, and assist adjunct/full-time instructors as needed. Academic Support role will provide 250-325 hours of total time supporting students and instructors for program-specific courses in the Legal Studies/Paralegal program.

• Meet with each student twice per semester to coach, monitor progress, and adjust the study plans if necessary.
• Recommend and/or implement instructional strategies to improve learner success - directed to all students or individual students in

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related discipline required.
• Two years (4,000 hours) of relevant occupational experience required.

As a Legal Data Analyst, you'll apply your litigation expertise in a dynamic, non-traditional setting and help support development of Bloomberg Law's AI-enabled tools from a data perspective. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to evaluate data quality, test AI performance, and ensure product decisions reflect user needs and expectations. Your analytical thinking, attention to detail, and understanding of practitioner workflows will directly influence the quality and success of our products.

+ Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and approach, translating domain-specific knowledge into clear inputs for AI models and actionable feedback for technical stakeholders
+ Craft, test, and refine complex prompts for large language models (LLMs) to generate high-quality outputs that are contextually accurate and tailored to legal research and drafting workflows

**You'll Need To Have:**
+ A Bachelor's degree
+ Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
+ Admission to a U.S. State Bar
+ 2+ years of relevant litigation experience, with a strong understanding of legal research and drafting workflows
+ Familiarity with online legal research tools
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a particular focus on sophisticated and complex litigation concepts
+ Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work product on demanding deadlines
+ Ability to navigate ambiguity and establish clear, actionable objectives
