About the Role & Team
The Disney Legal and Global Affairs department seeks a Senior Specialist, Legal Operations to support Disney LGA's Transformation Program. In coordination with the Legal Operations Manager, the Senior Specialist will assess department needs, evaluate potential technology solutions, and assist in the implementation of new tools and technologies with the goals of optimizing department processes and achieving efficiency gains.
This position requires significant attention to detail, stellar interpersonal skills, as well as technical curiosity and acumen. The ability to multitask is critical, as is the ability to effectively interact with clients, business partners, and internal and external vendors. The Senior Specialist, Legal Operations is energized by continuous improvement, stays abreast of technological developments especially with regard to AI, and understands how to phase a project to achieve larger goals.
What You Will Do
**Identify/Measure/Test/Implement Legal Tech Portfolio**
+ Organize and conduct pilot programs for legal technology tools, including those incorporating AI, and analyze the resulting feedback.
+ Evaluate potential solutions to improve Disney LGA processes and provide recommendations.
+ Develop and implement optimized processes for both the Legal Operations department and other LGA teams.
+ Track industry and digital trends to share relevant findings, especially with regard to the use of AI in the practice of law.
+ Demonstrate legal technology tools for potential user groups.
+ Gather requirements from internal clients and develop business requirements documentation.
+ Configure tools to meet legal team requirements.
+ Work with the Legal Operations Manager to ensure all stakeholders are engaged and aligned as new technologies are implemented.
+ Ensure new technologies are rolled out on time, on budget, and in accordance with requirements.
+ Partner closely with IT, vendors, and consulting groups to configure new tools and develop integrations.

Required Qualifications & Skills
+ 3+ years' work experience in a legal and/or technology function

The hiring range for this position in Greater Los Angeles area is $78,200.00 to $104,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. **What will you be doing:**
The Counsel, Technology Ventures Legal will support the Executive Director, Technology Ventures Legal in providing quality legal services and advice to Cedars-Sinai's Technology Ventures program, which is responsible for the protection and commercialization of intellectual property at Cedars-Sinai. + Draft and negotiate a variety of contracts to support Technology Ventures and its related programs, including non-disclosure/confidentiality, consulting services, vendor, SaaS, research collaboration, material transfer, IP license, and other technology-related or corporate agreements.
+ Negotiate and coordinate relationships and interactions with Cedars-Sinai's institutional partners, inventors, licensees, start-up companies, vendors, and other third parties.
+ Draft agreement summaries, policies and procedures, and correspondence regarding Technology Ventures and its related programs.
