Liaison Officer Job Summary

Organized, efficient, and communicative liaison officer to coordinate between our organization and another entity. In this role, you will act as the middle person between our business and the other entity to streamline operations, resolve issues, improve communications, and generally ensure that the relationship is as beneficial as possible.

Liaison Officer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate the strategic objectives of the business and site operations. Collaborate and communicate successfully with other entities outside of the business.
  • Work with other staff members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise, its compliance, operations, and community relations.
  • Develop and foster relationships with the community, stakeholders, and other entities.
  • Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the business and the other entity.
  • Compile reports about particular incidents, events, or updates about an important issue for the business.
  • Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and the other entity.
  • Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
  • Act as a positive representation of the business to the community
  • Oversees all aspects of on-site operations of several multi-family housing projects under the supervision of the appointed management company property supervisor in order to provide safe, decent, sanitary housing to tenants and to carry out the policies established by the owner through implementation of the duties outlines below. The manager may live on-site as a condition of employment.


Requirements

1. Ability to read and understand written documents in English, including building plans and contractor specifications.

2. General understanding of major building components and systems, such as heating, air conditioning, elevator, electrical, irrigation systems, plumbing, etc. with emphasis on maintaining qualify performance and function.

3. Acquire and maintain a practical knowledge of all types of labor and materials normally used for maintenance and reports, including respective time factors involved/

4. Ability to operate effectively office equipment and systems, including telephones, calculators, personal computers, fax, scanners, postage equipment, etc.

5. Must have personal transportation, current driver's license, and automobile insurance coverage.

6. Reside on the property, where required.

7. Be available and responsible for evening and weekend coverage of the property.

8. Must have working knowledge and experience in affordable housing regulations.

9. Associate's degree preferred

10. 2+ years of experience in a related role

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Must have the ability to walk the property and to perform inspections of units and ancillary buildings as well as the grounds.

2. Must be able to go up and down stairs (if applicable) as well as bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.

3. Computer skills and ability to operate office machinery is required.

**The Opportunity:**
CACI is looking for a Cybersecurity Liaison Officer (LNO) to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment. On this program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.
As a Cybersecurity Liaison Officer (LNO), you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between various departments within the Department of the Air Force and the EITaaS Wave 1 cybersecurity team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective communication and collaboration between different stakeholders, enabling a proactive and comprehensive approach to cybersecurity risk management. You will serve as the main point of contact for cybersecurity-related matters, advocating for security best practices, and actively assisting in the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives. This includes applying your expertise in critical areas such as Active Directory management, Organizational Unit (OU) design and implementation, Intune configuration and security, and the application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure system hardening and compliance.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the cybersecurity team and other business units, departments, and external partners. Establish strong working relationships to understand their unique needs, challenges, and requirements related to cybersecurity.
+ Communication and Education: Facilitate clear and timely communication regarding cybersecurity matters, including threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices. Organize and lead cybersecurity awareness sessions and training programs for non-technical staff to improve security posture across the organization.
+ Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Collaborate with various teams to identify potential cybersecurity risks within their respective areas of operation. Assist in conducting risk assessments and help develop mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
+ Incident Response Coordination: Support the cybersecurity incident response team in coordinating and communicating responses to cybersecurity incidents. Ensure that the relevant stakeholders are kept informed during incident resolution.
+ Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines across the organization. Collaborate with departments to ensure they are aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements.

**Qualifications:**

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
+ 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor's Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
+ Proven experience in cybersecurity or a related role, with a focus on risk management, incident response, policy implementation, and specifically including substantial experience in Active Directory security, Organizational Unit (OU) design and management, Intune configuration and security policy implementation, and applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the ability to clearly articulate complex Active Directory, Intune, and STIG-related security concepts to diverse audiences.
+ Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices, with in-depth knowledge of Active Directory vulnerabilities, Intune security settings, and STIG remediation techniques.
+ Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards such as NIST SP 800 series and DoD Policies, particularly those related to Active Directory hardening, Intune security baselines, and STIG compliance requirements.
+ Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex situations and provide practical solutions, including the ability to troubleshoot Active Directory security issues, identify Intune configuration gaps, and implement STIG remediation strategies.
+ Required DoD 8140 compliant certification such as CompTIA Security+ Other relevant cybersecurity certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), are a plus.
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) is advantageous.
+ Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, including managing projects related to Active Directory upgrades, Intune deployments, or STIG compliance initiatives.

Responsible for processes and activities within the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) including regulatory compliance, systems and technology, data analytics and performance, and small business spend categories. We are looking for Liaison Support Officers , at all levels, to join our intelligence program supporting a key government sponsor in Northern Virginia.

This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. All positions require possession of a current/active security clearance with Polygraph. Applicants will be evaluated and placed in a level from 2-5 based off their experience and customer feedback after multiple assessments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to all aspects of liaison visits, to include all logistical planning and coordination to support these visits.
  • Follow the sponsor office's guidance/direction as it applies to planning and coordinating visits or events.
  • Submit requests for building access, catering, transportation, museum tours, photos, gifts, lodging, and special events.
  • Act as a point of contact for the sponsor office's senior management when generic liaison visit questions arise.
  • Be knowledgeable of cultural sensitivities and preferences for the country portfolio, eventually becoming a subject matter expert on the culture(s) in the portfolio.
  • Coordinate meetings to include time, day, and reserving the necessary conference rooms.
  • Populate data within liaison-tracking databases or tools, maintain calendars, and maintain historical records.
  • Provide expert concierge service by having event-planning experience and current knowledge of the popular dining, unique experiences, and events (sports, music concerts, etc.) occurring in the Washington, DC area.
  • Support the development and provide continuous updates for standardizing procedures/templates for liaison engagements, to include developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) documents.
  • Anticipate the needs of the sponsor office according to the preferences of the liaison guests.
  • Respond to and adeptly handle an immediate event crisis with positive results or a favorable outcome.
  • Handle all aspects of event planning from start to finish.
  • Propose and provide creative solutions to issues or impediments as they arise.
  • Comply with ad-hoc requirements issued by the sponsor office during liaison events.
