**Library Project Specialist , 25 $/ hour , No Benefits.**

In this role, you will be instrumental in a significant library collection move, ensuring the meticulous organization, protection, and preservation of rare books and special collections. Your expertise will be crucial in coordinating this complex project, contributing to the legacy of our valued collections.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Execute the detailed packing, labeling, and inventory of library materials, including books, periodicals, and special collections, to ensure seamless transition and tracking.
+ Develop and implement comprehensive packing lists and a clear labeling system to maintain organizational integrity throughout the relocation process.
+ Carefully handle, move, and re-shelve a wide range of library materials, including rare books, in accordance with established library shelving and preservation standards
**Job Requirements :**
+ Proven experience in library operations, archiving, or a related field
+ Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, particularly in inventory and labeling.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and speed.
+ Experience with handheld scanner usage for inventory or tracking purposes.
+ Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
