NaphCare is hiring night shift LPNs and to join our team of medical professionals in Land O Lakes, Florida where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Pasco County Detention Center.
As a Correctional Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to provide care to the individuals in residence. Working within a controlled environment, where security is top priority and the days are never dull, you will have various duties to keep you engaged including performing physical assessments, administering medications, managing chronic illnesses, and responding to emergencies. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs.

Community Behavioral Health Center Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
These nurses will perform the following core functions: fill physician orders; administer medication and engage in a medication reconciliation process, as outlined within the Components of Service section; take vital signs; coordinate medical care; contribute to comprehensive assessment, brief crisis counseling, individualized crisis prevention planning, and provider psychoeducation; and assist with discharge planning and care coordination.
Community Services Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse:
This position provides psychiatric nursing care, i.e., assessment, medication, education and monitoring of medication regimes and supervision of the general health care of residents within Adult Community Clinical Services. This RN or LPN will provide training, education around medications, symptom management and promote health and Wellness among all ACCS programs. This RN or LPN will complete nursing assessments, referrals, and play an integral role within the psychiatric/medical team.
