Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager within the Distribution department, the Material Handler III is responsible for collaborating with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Duties include using a forklift, order picker, and pallet rider to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials; supporting inventory management with accurate product placement and movement; and assisting with maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift, order picker, and pallet rider to safely load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials.
- Use radio frequency (RF) equipment for pricing, receiving, put-away, and inventory tracking, as required.
- Ensure accurate storing, picking, packing, and receiving of products in accordance with company standards.
- Perform daily inspections of lift equipment to ensure safe and proper functioning.
- Operate all lift equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to prescribed work methods and safety guidelines.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and organized condition.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
- Consistently work toward meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly productivity goals.
- Keep the work environment clean and orderly to promote safety and efficiency.

POSITION PURPOSE:The Forklift Driver is responsible for carrying out operations for the marina. The Forklift Driver’s primary responsibility is the customer and their vessels. Every task at the marina from carefully handing the customers boats, to communicating effectively with the employee working the docks. The Forklift Driver projects a professional company image through all types of interactions. As this is a fast-paced environment, must be able to work under pressure.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places

**What you'll do.**
Manage freight flow by moving scanning and handling freight manually andor with power equipment
Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise ontofrom racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbalinstructions
Provide basic maintenance to equipment eg clean inspect
Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases inspecting pallets shrink wrap and freight for damage cutting shrink wrap as neededand maintaining records logs and forms
Organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns eg pallet storage trailers upstackingdownstacking emptypallets and upstackingdownstacking freight
