Responsibilities
- Package orders. Package picked items for daily orders and prepare them for shipping.
- Return orders. Restock any returned inventory.
- Manage, transfer, and accurately count inventory. Assist with printing location and product barcodes, labeling products, transferring stock to assigned locations, and frequent cycle counts.
- Establish and maintain product locations. Create, maintain, and deconstruct container locations for storing products as needed.
- Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual.

Performs the necessary functions of operation in order to ensure orders and inventory will be received, picked, packed, shipped and stored accurately. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for operating the following equipment, sit down forklift, order picker, reach truck, turret truck, standup forklift, pallet riders and other material handling equipment, as necessary.
- Operates RF equipment to successfully perform daily functions.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment to pick, move and put away products as required.
- MHE Certification on all equipment. (will train and certify)
- Picks eaches, cases and full pallets for store orders using Material Handling Equipment.
- Unloads new products and places in staging area to be received and split out.
- Unloads and loads freight as necessary.
- Put away new products in the appropriate storage racks.
- Performs moves for pallets and cases throughout the Distribution Center.

We are currently seeking to fill an opening for a Crane Operator. This position will be responsible for operating a stationary or traveling crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads. The operator will presses buttons, lifts levers, and ensure that the load is safely attached to the crane before operating the crane.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate crane under general supervision.
- Manipulate or depress cane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
- Repair crane as needed.
- Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis.
- Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.
- Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
- Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
- Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks.
- Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads.
- Move levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load-line.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Equipment Operator to support operations at the Hayfield Quarry location in Fredericksburg, VA. This position will be responsible for operating and configuring multiple equipment. Also ensure that the machine works at its full capacity, oversee its maintenance, and perform timely quality checks.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other large-scale earthmoving tasks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials such as soil, rocks, and debris using the excavator bucket.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the excavator to ensure optimal functioning.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other crew members to coordinate excavation activities.
- Follow site plans, blueprints, and safety guidelines to complete excavation work according to project specifications.
- Monitor excavation sites for hazards and report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Assist in backfilling and grading areas after excavation to prepare for construction or landscaping.
- Keep accurate logs of work performed, including hours operated and maintenance activities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Required Work Experience: Minimum 2 years experience
- Proven experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment on construction or excavation sites.
- Strong understanding of excavation safety procedures and OSHA compliance standards.
- Safely maneuver around underground utilities and structures to avoid damage during digging operations.
- Use specialized excavator attachments (e.g., hydraulic breakers, thumbs, or augers) for diverse site needs.
- Assist with trench shoring and proper slope cutting to maintain safe excavation conditions.
- Communicate with spotters and ground crews using hand signals or radios to coordinate movement.
- Support site cleanup by loading materials into dump trucks and removing excess debris post-excavation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for performing routine equipment inspections and minor repairs.
- Physical stamina and strength to work in demanding outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for precise equipment operation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
