Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate with approximately 5 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong writing skills, courtroom exposure, and a proactive approach to managing cases.

Key Responsibilities:

·   Handle all phases of the litigation from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.

·   Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision.

·   Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and clients for testimony.

·   Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

·   Manage client communications and expectations; participate in case strategy and development.

·   Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.

Qualifications:

·    J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

·   Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in a law firm or comparable legal setting.

·   Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
