Description of Work Unit
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance ( SMTD ) at Colorado State Universityempowers students to create, collaborate, innovate, and inspire. Through teaching, creative artistry, research, advocacy, and service,we elevate arts education. SMTD has 46 tenured and tenure-track faculty as well as 55 contract, continuing and adjunct faculty. There are currently over 550 students in SMTD , with 375 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in residential and online music degree programs.
SMTD is housed in the University Center for the Arts, a nationally recognized state-of the art 350,000 square foot facility, that includes a 550-seat concert hall, a 275-seat organ and chamber music recital hall, a 320-seat thrust theatre, a 100-seat black box theatre, a 200-seat dance theatre, dedicated rehearsal, production and research spaces, along with classrooms, labs and practice rooms.

Position Summary
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance may seek full time or part time, temporary Music Instructors to teach music industry courses in the music division, and in administrative roles coordinating special programs and developing curricula.
Applicants are added to the pool list throughout the calendar year. Hiring decisions are made during the late spring and early summer for fall semester, during the early fall semester for spring and during the spring semester for the summer term.

The Event Management Specialist will coordinate logistics for various events, execute both high-level external and internal events, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the successful implementation of all event-related activities in their region or campus. Essential Functions:

Located in our Burbank, CA facility, Canon U.S.A., Inc., seeks an Event Management Specialist (Specialist, Event Management). This exciting position will work independently to create, plan, organize and oversee events to expand exposure of Canon imaging products in the Cinema market and related products.
Note: This position requires ability to work some nights and weekends as needed
**Your Impact**
- Lead process of organizing and planning logistics for events including procure vendor services, on-site exhibit set-up, AV equipment, catering, transportation, registration, check-in, etc.
- Provide support to the facility including direct incoming calls, greet visitors, prepare shipments, monitor and process files, contracts and invoices, etc Provide intake, shipping and return of customer gear provided for service repairs.
- Communicate with senior internal and external personnel including production teams, exhibit houses, meeting facilities and third party entities
- Provide full post show/event reporting both qualitative and quantitative
- Collaborate with internal product groups to determine equipment needed for applicable events
- Assist with development of communication materials for all events
- Maintain and track event budgets, maintain database of all events on a monthly basis
**About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience

Project Background: Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) represents the capabilities which enable the President to exercise nuclear command and control authorities and the Department of Defense's (DOD's) nuclear forces to act upon the President's direction. The NC3 Enterprise is critical to deterrence and credible nuclear warfighting, but it has not progressed at the pace of technological innovation. The NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) was established to address future strategic environments, monitor and assess current capabilities, define future NC3 architectures and ensure modernized NC3 capabilities align with the nuclear triad.
Job Details: The contractor shall support the government assessment of future system requirements. The team shall provide operational context during requirement definition, system development and integration for future NC3 capabilities. The findings will ensure future systems support operational needs, address future NC3 capabilities, and align with future NC3 roadmap.
Job Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in the following:
- NC2/NC3 operation capabilities and procedures, and experience in the operations platforms, communications, and modes of operations, to include current efforts in developing survivable and endurable NC2/NC3 capabilities.
At least 3 years of experience in the following:
- Working with, maintaining and extracting pertinent data from large databases into spreadsheets, graphs, charts etc., to meet customer needs. Background and training in one or more of USSTRATCOMs assigned UCP missions, assignment at the Combatant Command, Joint Staff, Service, or MAJCOM level.
