Warehouse Operations Manager

Europerfumes is the leading US distributor of artisanal fragrance brands. As the Warehouse Operations Manager, youll be responsible for leading the warehouse team, managing daily workflows, and driving continuous improvement. Youll ensure smooth operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping while keeping a close eye on inventory levels, productivity, and team performance. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations & Order Fulfillment

• Oversee daily warehouse activities across three locations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Plan and communicate daily objectives, setting clear priorities for the team.
• Monitor open orders each morning to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and inefficiencies.
• Conduct downstock reviews to identify replenishment needs and avoid shortages.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff, including supervisors and associates.
• Conduct morning huddles with department leads to align on daily goals.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment where employees feel supported.
• Hold weekly team recaps, encouraging open discussions about challenges and improvements.
• Provide coaching and feedback to help the team grow and improve performance.

Process Improvement & Efficiency

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Work with department leads to eliminate bottlenecks in picking, packing, and shipping.
• Use KPI reports, aisle management tools, and daily production tracking to assess performance.
• Continuously look for ways to reduce waste in labor and movement.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all warehouse operations follow company policies and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety training and audits to maintain a safe work environment.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Vendor & Customer Relations

• Work with carriers (USPS, FedEx, etc.) to negotiate better rates and service agreements.
• Act as the main point of contact for warehouse-related customer issues.

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in special projects, events, and customer activations as needed.

Performance Tracking & Problem-Solving

• Monitor key performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
• Regularly review open orders and completed invoices to track efficiency.
• Respond quickly and effectively to operational issues.

This deal candidate will report to the VP and lead a team to streamline the overall P&L, Process Improvement, KPI management across distribution network, logistics and inventory. Responsibilities:

• Report to VP and lead a team and a union workforce to streamline the 24/7 operations of Distribution Network, fulfillment process and materials.

• Improve warehousing and fulfillment process through defining effective KPI across slotting, pick-pack rate, quality to further achieve OTD, JIT flow, accuracy and reduce cost.
• Collaborate with Procurement team to develop strategic replenishment strategies on inventory, avoid back orders, improve slow moving items and reduce obsolescence, improve warehouse slotting, picking and packing process to further improve lead-time.
• Support supplier management and ensure suppliers meet scorecard and KPI metrics, plan and optimize warehouse space to optimize stocking strategy.
• Develop budget, target and financial goals with Executive Management team, ensure operations meet timeline and budget; evaluate S&OP and drive changes across operations to improve overall business performance.
• Full responsibly of staffing management on union and non-union staff, responsible for hiring, coaching, training staff performance, engaging in union contract and union related negotiation.
• Ensure the full compliance of safety and quality compliance, develop safety procedure and training to continuously refine safety practice across company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree, masters degree strongly desired.
• 10+ years of tenure as Operations Leader within Distribution, Logistics, Wholesales, Retail, Service within food and beverage industries
• Solid knowledge in ERP, MS Office and WMS systems.
• Solid knowledge in DMAIC, LSS, CI, JIT, certified in LSS, CSCM, or CPIM desired.
• Knowledge in managing a union workforce is a plus.
• Able to travel among DC centers for at least 50%
• Strong in analytical skill, problem solving skill, excellent communication and people skills

The Lead Material Handler manages material needs/requirements for CAR-T production per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in controlled and/or classified environments under the supervision of Warehousing Operations Management. The position must adhere to regulatory requirements while performing job functions. Job duties are performed within a team according to an assigned, production shift schedule. • Works in a team based, cross-functional environment to complete warehousing tasks required by shift schedule.
