Job Title: Radiation Therapist – Rockford, IL (13-Week Contract)

Location: Rockford, Illinois

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day – 5x8-hour shifts (Monday to Friday, shifts vary between 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• No weekends or on-call required
• Patient Volume: 64-68 patients per day across two treatment units
• Must work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Local Candidates: Not accepted

Equipment & Systems:

• Two Linear Accelerators: Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE
• ARIA Record and Verify System (upgrading to v18.1 at the end of the month)

Requirements:

• Radiation Therapy Certification from ARRT
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) License required
• Experience working in mid-to-large hospital settings
• Strong knowledge of Varian equipment and ARIA systems
• Ability to manage a high-volume patient load efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Verify treatment plans and patient setup using ARIA
• Monitor patients for reactions and provide appropriate care during treatment
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all safety protocols
